The Hedera Hashgraph platform provides a new form of distributed consensus; a way for people who don't know or trust each other to securely collaborate and transact online without the need for a trusted intermediary.
Cryptocurrency and Blockchain for the financial industry with more than 1 mln tx/sec and 0.01 sec for a transaction. CREDITS is a new, unique blockchain platform with absolutely new technical capabilities of the network, response time, transaction cost and the number of operations per second.
Zilliqa is a new blockchain platform that is designed to scale in an open, permission-less distributed network securely. The core feature that makes Zilliqa scalable is sharding — dividing the network into several smaller component networks (called shards) capable of processing transactions in parallel.
The QuarkChain ICO is a serious contender as far as scalability solutions go. The team have made it a point to focus on their product before moving on to build their community and establish partnerships, which they lose some points on for now.
As the release of the public Testnet approaches, however, we will monitor their progress on the latter two fronts. Regardless, the team behind QuarkChain are exceptional and have showcased their potential via the Testnet.
16-Apr: Quarkchain we like, but it is hard to participate on pre-sale.
24-Apr: Quarkchain is the next candidate for Very High. Soon they will open whitelist, priority will be given to early telegram group participants. Hype is high. It looks like Zilliqa. I participated in pre-sale.
27-Apr. Alexey: Very High.Blockchain with a low cap. The team is good. The only minus is that it is hard to participate. The individual cap will be low.
Andrey: Zilliqa and Quarkchain look very similar, both have sharding, test net and no main net. https://youtu.be/N8sJpLdLBOw?t=38m9s
30-Apr. Sergey: Project is Very High, you need to watch attentively to not miss the whitelist.
3-May. Sergey: Top idea - Very High Interest. There are indicators that this project will have big Market Cap. The structure of pre-sale, low individual cap, all of this creates Hype. I will participate. Don't forget to make accounts in Quarkchain.
Ivan: Sale conditions: Saturday is the last day when you can join their telegram to be able to pass KYC, they will check TimeStamps. They can probably make some sort of Quiz and ask questions about the project.
13-May. Sergey: We have discussed it many times, the project is TOP.
23-May. Andrey: QuarkChain is a cashcow. This is the project in which it is definitely worth going.
22-Apr. Update on Quarkchain after discussing it in last week's live stream. The Quarkchain team showed my team a demo of their blockchain and it's the real deal. This is officially an all-star ICO in my opinion. Currently scored at 85% for me. I will participate in the private sale. Public sale is confirmed. However, it will justifiably be oversubscribed. Which brings me to a point I want to emphasize as we get out of ICO winter. It's still possible to get into good projects after the ICO on exchanges. Loom Network, POA, and others had great entries during the bear market in my opinion. They will be other similar projects that are oversubscribed during the token sale that will have great entries during the next bear market.
Just to clarify, the demo did not have 1 million TPS. The demo was on a testnet and showed a functioning blockchain and the potential of what's possible. In my opinion, Zilliqa token metrics were rated higher historically but this is still a good project nonetheless.
24-Apr. I covered Quarkchain last time. Long story short: Quarkchain is an all-star ICO, the best ICO in this quarter. I was waiting for the demo from the team to make sure that they could actually deliver on their claims, all right, I did get the demo and the demo blew me away from guys I mean it is legit. I don't think this is better than Zilliqa per say. I have graded Quarkchain as around 84 percent score which is pretty solid and as a result I was part of their private sale.
10-May. QuarkChain, Edenchain, Phantasma and Mainframe those are my four all-star projects for this month.
Overall, we like both the flipping and long-term potential of this ICO. Our thoughts on buying the tokens for flipping and investing for the long term are as follows:
Good. The full token metrics aren’t public yet, but with a hard cap of $20 million, high market awareness, and presale fully booked many times over, we believe there will be substantial unmet demand following token distribution.
For long-term holding
Good. As far as we know, QuarkChain and Zilliqa are the only project that is implementing sharding on testnet. Those who have been following us know that we like Zilliqa as it is one of our picks for the Crusher of the Month, with a current market cap of $705 million.
The hard cap of $20 million represents just 2.8% of the market cap of Zilliqa, the closest comparable project and by itself undervalued in our opinion. There is a substantial disconnect between the valuation of QuarkChain and other promising blockchain 3.0 projects. Therefore, we believe QuarkChain has the potential to go down as one of the most successful ICO projects in 2018.
QuarkChain has outstanding advisors and a good team. It has already launched an MVP, which shows 2K TPS (transactions per second), and QC plans to have 100K TPS by the end of this year. QuarkChain has already raised $16M out of a projected $20M from private sales. Competitors market caps indicate the huge potential growth for QuarkChain tokens. The hype rate is very high. We have only deducted some points because it seems that new, high-speed blockchains appear every month, and the industry is getting more saturated.
Wants to create a bifurcated or two-layer blockchain that focuses on scalability and security.
Next Zilliqa with highest TPS. Decent cap, good team. Bullish on this project.
1. There is an effort to combine sharding and rootchain to achieve both security and scalability.
2. They have already done the test net and the roadmap is relatively fast.
3. Team members are good and white paper is written well. Hard cap is not big and institutional investment is crowded.
A complementary point
1. Due to the nature of shard, it is necessary to acquire users quickly to ensure scalability.
2. Recently there was a problem with github.
3. There is a lot of competition with highly scalable platforms, including Zilliqa.
Overall, we are very positive on the project as we find their technology in implementing a blockchain intriguing. Quarkchain exhibits several unique features that differentiates itself from its competitors. • A high throughput blockchain that seeks to position itself between decentralization and security, without compromising the network’s scalability and speed • Market opportunity for such projects are required to further lever the development of blockchain technology • We are confident in the team’s ability as it portrays relevant technical experience from established companies with solid academic backgrounds • Attractive low hard cap of $20m Picolo is taking an early-stage view on Quarkchain but believes that the team will be able to execute their roadmap. We are cautious of the 1million TPS claims as current technology is not capable of reaching such speeds, however, a substantial achievement of 50-100k TPS is viable. We are excited regarding the possibilities this project can achieve and will continue to monitor its developments moving forward.
This highly anticipated ICO will definitely be followed closely by many, as QuarkChain seeks to compete with the likes of Ethereum. If dApps are quick to jump onboard, QuarkChain could quickly find itself right up there among other major blockchains. Potential investors should keep a keen eye on this project.
