GenLayer is an AI-native blockchain enabling 'Intelligent Contracts' - smart contracts that reason with LLMs, interpret natural language and access live web data through an Optimistic Democracy consensus. It raised a $7.5M seed led by North Island Ventures, with Arrington Capital and Maelstrom, and runs a testnet points program across Builder, Validator and Community tracks. On October 22, 2026 GenLayer announced it is moving its token and public network from zkSync to Arbitrum, alongside the next phase of the Bradbury testnet. On October 27 it published the GEN tokenomics paper: validators lock GEN to get a vote on each case and can be slashed for cheating, users pay GEN for compute, AI inference and validation, and builders earn GEN when their contracts are used. GEN Airdrop Registration at airdrop.genlayer.com closed October 26, reopened on October 27 and finally closed on October 31, with final eligibility set by Asimov Ltd. Season 2 of GenLayer Points runs until mainnet. The GEN token is not yet trading and no TGE date has been announced.
