Flop Labs, led by BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes as CEO, is building Flop Network and the FLOP token for the emerging AI agent economy. Its Proof-of-Useful-Inference consensus has miners supply GPU compute to run AI inference workloads instead of hashing, while validators verify computation and store agent memory. Agents pay FLOP for services. A large airdrop is planned for Q4 2026, with genesis targeted for Q1 2027.
