Nexpace is a blockchain-powered Web3 gaming platform developed by Nexon, the company behind the MapleStory franchise.
Nexpace serves as the core infrastructure for the MapleStory Universe, a decentralized ecosystem where players, developers, and creators can own, trade, and monetize in-game assets represented as NFTs. By integrating blockchain technology, Nexpace transforms traditional gaming IP into a player-driven digital economy, enhancing transparency, asset ownership, and community participation.
Nexpace operates mainly on the BNB Chain and Avalanche C-Chain, leveraging their speed, low fees, and Ethereum compatibility. NXPC is used for transaction fees, NFT trading, governance voting, and rewarding contributors such as developers and artists. The ecosystem includes MapleStory N, a blockchain-enhanced MMORPG where NFTs represent characters and equipment, and the MSU Marketplace, enabling trade of NFT item baskets using NXPC.
