Confidentiality protocol Zama has partnered with blockchain-intelligence firm Elliptic to bring compliance screening to confidential onchain finance — without giving up privacy.

Zama builds a confidentiality layer for public blockchains using fully homomorphic encryption (FHE). Elliptic’s screening lets institutions meet AML and regulatory standards on transactions that stay encrypted — “compliant by design.”

The pitch: institutions won’t adopt confidential finance unless it satisfies regulated-market compliance, and now it can. Zama recently raised $57M in a Series B to expand its FHE stack.
