Confidential-DeFi builder Zama expands confidential vaults on Morpho, opening deposits into 16 vaults that let users earn yield while hiding their balances, positions and strategies.

Twelve of the vaults route confidential access into existing Morpho vaults, while four were built exclusively for private deposits across assets including USDC, USDT, AUSD and TGBP. Strategies are overseen by curators Steakhouse Financial, Armitage by Wintermute, Flowdesk, RockawayX and Bitwise.

Zama's first vault, launched in June with Morpho and Steakhouse, pulled in $40M within seven weeks. Alongside it, the new Zama Swap Protocol lets users trade confidential assets on Ethereum without revealing transaction size or intent.

Morpho co-founder Merlin Egalite called the confidential vaults an important step, as privacy-preserving infrastructure moves closer to mainstream DeFi. Integrations already span Utila, Zerion Wallet and Yield.xyz.
