Upbit adds Nillion's NIL to its KRW market, trading opens October 27
South Korea's largest exchange has expanded support for Nillion, the privacy-focused blind computation network, with a new KRW market listing for NIL. The token was already available on Upbit's BTC market, where it last closed at 0.0000011 BTC (117.6 KRW).
KRW trading is scheduled to open on October 27 at 16:40 KST (07:40 UTC). Deposits and withdrawals are supported only via the Ethereum network, and Upbit warns that transfers over any other network will not be credited.
For the first 5 minutes, buy orders are blocked and sell orders more than 10% below the previous close are rejected; only limit orders are accepted for about 2 hours.
KRW pairs typically bring the bulk of Upbit's retail volume, so a won market gives NIL direct access to the exchange's largest pool of Korean traders. Upbit notes that the start time may be delayed if sufficient liquidity is not secured after deposits open.
