Kostas Kryptos, co-founder of Sui, unveiled Havenex, a regulated infrastructure platform that lets financial institutions offer both digital and traditional assets, as its Series A nears a close.

Havenex says it will not compete with existing exchanges but instead provide compliant, transparent rails for institutions across multichain custody. It is in the authorization process with Austria's FMA, with license applications already filed, and touts multisig, quantum-resistant keys, hardware-based 2FA, self-custody and key-loss protection. The platform plans to use Sui technology where appropriate, alongside assets and infrastructure from other ecosystems.

Kryptos will act as an advisor while keeping his primary focus on Mysten Labs, the Sui developer where he serves as chief cryptographer.
