Mt. Gox pushed its repayment deadline again, to October 31, 2027, with court approval. The original target was July 31, 2023, 51 months earlier.

Six moves in total: two short ones in early 2023, then one a year since. Most coverage counts only the yearly pushes and calls this the 4th delay.

The last three notices are word for word identical, only the year changes: "Many rehabilitation creditors still have not received their Repayments because they have not completed the necessary procedures for receiving Repayments."

BTC/BCH payouts started in July 2024, and 19,500+ creditors had been paid by March 2025. The estate still holds roughly 34K BTC (~$2.8B).
