MORE Markets Drained for $9.3M in Flow EVM Exploit

MORE Markets, a lending protocol on Flow EVM, was exploited for roughly $9.3M after an attacker looped an Ankr bonded liquid staking token through E-mode to drain its WFLOW reserve.

The attacker emptied about 15.5M WFLOW, worth ~$9.3M, from the mFlowWFLOW lending pool, then routed the funds out in a cluster of post-exploit transfers. Security firm Blockaid detected the incident on-chain and traced the transactions that swept the reserve. E-mode paired with bonded LST collateral let the attacker borrow far more against the position than a standard market would permit, the kind of design edge that has become a recurring soft spot for on-chain lending. MORE Markets runs an omnichain vault model across EVM chains, with Flow among its live deployments.

Lending markets that lean on shared collateral pools and aggressive borrow modes remain among DeFi's most frequently drained primitives. No recovery plan or protocol response has been confirmed yet.
