LayerZero sets Zero mainnet and lzATLAS launch for November 30

LayerZero has started the countdown to the Zero mainnet, the Layer 1 it first unveiled in February 2026 with a fall launch target. The network goes live on November 30 together with lzATLAS, its first application.

Zero launches with three zones: a general-purpose EVM environment, a privacy-focused payments zone and a trading zone. Validators on its beacon chain verify ZK proofs instead of re-executing transactions, which separates execution from verification.

Each zone is designed to scale to 2M TPS, at a network cost of about $0.0000001 per transaction.

lzATLAS is built on ATLAS, a market engine that combines matching, clearing, settlement and risk in one stack. The mainnet will initially focus on open markets, while institutions are reportedly testing lzATLAS for US equities and fixed income.
