Indonesia's largest crypto exchange moved into a defensive posture on October 29, as a senior Indodax official said the platform temporarily suspended user deposits and withdrawals after detecting a rise in cyberattack attempts.

The pause is meant to give the team time for security assessments and risk mitigation. Indodax said user assets remain secure, with no unauthorized withdrawals and no data breach detected so far.

Deposits and withdrawals will resume only once system security is confirmed, with no timeline given.
