ICE backs trade[XYZ] to bring 24/7 Hyperliquid perps to the US
In just over a year, trade[XYZ] markets on Hyperliquid have passed $650 billion in volume, offering round-the-clock trading in stocks, indices and commodities that US users could not access. Now the team has announced a partnership with ICE, the owner of the New York Stock Exchange.
Subject to CFTC approval, the two plan to launch a dedicated US market with new exchange and clearing infrastructure built on Hyperliquid. Planned contracts cover equities, indices, commodities, FX and crypto, with access through participating brokers and platforms. Details on products, eligibility and timing will follow as approvals progress.
ICE is making a strategic investment in trade[XYZ], and investor Stan Druckenmiller is joining as well.
The US venue will run in parallel with trade[XYZ]'s existing HIP-3 markets on Hyperliquid. The launch still depends on regulatory approval, and no timeline has been given.
