Richard Heart was reportedly detained in an Istanbul dawn raid, Turkish outlets Sözcü, Karar and Takvim said, describing a joint intelligence and police operation.

Heart, legal name Richard James Schueler, has been on an Interpol Red Notice since December 2024, issued at Finland's request over tax and assault cases. Reports list 53 Rolex and 11 Patek Philippe watches, firearms and cash, with cash estimates from about $600K to $4M. A woman named as his wife was also detained. Turkish officials have not confirmed the arrest publicly.

The SEC case against Heart was dismissed in 2025. HEX was down about 29% on the day, per CoinGecko.
