Felix Pago Raises a $200M Series B, Led by a16z, to Scale Stablecoin Remittances
Stablecoin remittance startup Felix Pago raised a $200 million Series B led by a16z, splitting the round into $87 million of equity and a $113 million credit facility from General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund.
Miami-based Felix Pago lets users in the US send money to Latin America through WhatsApp, settling on the backend with Circle's USDC and blockchain rails. It has processed more than $8 billion in remittances to date, a sharp step up from its $75 million raise in April 2025 and a $15.5 million Series A the year before.
With the fresh capital, the company plans to expand beyond transfers into lending and savings products for Latin American immigrants, and to build an AI-powered financial assistant.
The round is another sign of investors piling into stablecoin payments, betting that dollar-pegged rails can undercut legacy remittance costs and pull everyday cross-border finance onchain.
