Cosmostation, the second-largest wallet in the Cosmos ecosystem and around since 2018, is discontinuing its wallet services across iOS, Android and its Chrome extension starting September 1.

After that date, the apps will keep only recovery phrase and private key export while every other feature is phased out ahead of a full shutdown. Because Cosmostation is non-custodial, it never held user funds, so assets remain safe on their respective chains and under users' control.

Users should export and securely back up their recovery phrase or private key before the deadline, then import into another Cosmos wallet such as Keplr. The move follows Leap Wallet's shutdown in May, a sign the Cosmos wallet layer is consolidating.
