Citi tapped Coinbase for stablecoin payments: the exchange will provide the rails that let the bank's corporate clients pay with stablecoins, the WSJ reports.

The two firms first announced a collaboration in October 2025, focused on on- and off-ramps between fiat and digital assets and on stablecoin payment tools.

Citi's payments network spans 94 markets and more than 300 clearing systems.
