BNB Chain has officially joined Mastercard’s Crypto Partner Program, expanding the blockchain network’s role in Mastercard’s push to bring digital assets into global payments.

Mastercard’s program now includes 100+ partners across crypto and traditional finance, targeting use cases such as cross-border payments, B2B transfers, payouts and settlement.

BNB Chain joins networks including Solana, Polygon and Tron, as Mastercard increasingly focuses on high-throughput, low-cost infrastructure for stablecoin and on-chain payments.

The move comes as Mastercard also advances its stablecoin strategy through the planned $1.8B acquisition of BVNK, strengthening its infrastructure for stablecoin settlement, on/off-ramps and compliance.
