Blockchain.com and NYSE signed an MOU that would give Blockchain.com users access to tokenized U.S. exchange-listed stocks and ETFs on the NYSE's previously announced digital ATS, subject to regulatory approvals.

The deal aims to bring crypto-native investors to the NYSE through Blockchain.com's global user base of 44M+ confirmed accounts across 70+ jurisdictions. Tokenized stocks can offer fractional ownership, around-the-clock trading outside market hours, and faster onchain settlement. The MOU also covers two-way market data: ICE Data Services plans to distribute Blockchain.com's crypto market data and analytics to its clients, while Blockchain.com will add ICE and NYSE exchange feeds to its app.

It lands days after reports that NYSE parent ICE is weighing Avalanche for 24/7 onchain trading of tokenized securities, with Citi projecting a $5.5T base case for tokenized assets by 2030.
