Binance Launches Agent OS, Letting AI Agents Trade

Binance, the largest crypto exchange with 300M+ users, launched Agent OS, a platform that lets AI agents analyze markets, execute trades and move funds on a user's behalf through a new MCP server that plugs into Claude Code, ChatGPT and Cursor.

Agents operate inside dedicated sub-accounts: withdrawals are blocked by default, users decide whether an agent needs approval for each order or can trade autonomously, and there is no separate loss cap, so the amount funded into the sub-account is the effective limit.

Binance says it cannot see an agent's reasoning, since that runs in the user's own AI app, leaving it with limited visibility into whether a trade was driven by bad data or a prompt-injection attack. Its existing security, risk-control and AML policies for sub-account APIs apply at launch. Beyond trading, agents can settle payments via x402 and touch on-chain and DeFi through Binance's Agentic Wallet.

It is the biggest exchange yet to open agentic trading, following Kraken's MCP server, Coinbase for Agents and OKX's agent toolkit, a sign that "AI that trades for you" is becoming a new front in exchange competition.
