Q1: Can you introduce yourself to our community?

Hi, I’m Ethan, Co-Founder and CEO of WonderHero.
I cover all key decisions from product, marketing to strategy and leading the company through its vision. Previously I was the Southeast Asia CEO for BiKi.com, a Top 20 Crypto exchange with a daily volume of 50M.

Prior to Biki, I was also the Marketing Lead for Huobi Global, a Top 3 Crypto exchange and covered position as Digital Marketing for a bank in Singapore along with 7 years of marketing experience in the startup space.

WonderHero was founded from a spark of luck, when I was a teenager, I was a game addict and became really good at games in short amount of time, I was told to stop due to my mum nagging at me saying “You better quit games or risk being a loser for the rest of your life”.

I believe a lot of folks can relate to this. So when my co-founder approached me for this project to lead as the CEO, after playing the alpha game for 3.5 hours, I knew this was it. Since then I have set forth the mission to fulfill the dream that I couldn’t fulfil as a teenager for many others out there, only this time, they have an opportunity to play to earn.

WonderHero’s mission is to let players from all walks of life to participate, people who are not good at playing games can participate as “sponsors” and players who are passionate about playing the game can participate as scholars.
Covid is a testing and difficult time for all of us, this is our part to help the society with this new GameFi open economy.

Q2: Can you introduce WonderHero to us?

WonderHero is a Play-to-Earn mobile RPG for iOS/Android with gorgeous visuals where players enter turn-based combat, earn NFTs and trade them on a peer-to-peer marketplace.

WonderHero rewards the players for every bit of effort and the hours invested in the game, by letting our players digitally own NFT assets, such as game characters, equipment and more. Players can earn these NFT assets by simply winning battles in WonderHero’s PvE mode (story campaign) or PvP mode. (player versus player)

To bring it up a notch, besides play to earn, WonderHero also offers other income earning streams for gamers, such as selling NFT assets on an open marketplace, mining rewards and our Yield System.

To get you up to speed with WonderHero, just a few days ago, we announced our incubation with Polkastarter and Morningstar Ventures, 2 of the leading powerhouse in blockchain space that has impacted many successful DeFi projects.
To date, the project has raised 1,650,000 USDT with Polkastarter and Morningstar Ventures as Incubators & Strategic Investors along with ecosystem partners such as Polygon, X21, Ice Tea Labs.

Here’s our roadmap till the end of 2021, so far we are pretty on track on delivering these milestones, and we intend to keep it that way.

As you can see October is the busiest month, packed with lots of events, from announcing our IDO to launching of WND tokens and our NFT WonderBox sale! Keep your eyes on us, you don’t want to miss these incredible events.

Most of the blockchains games fail to attract a large number of users due to the high barriers to entry such as lack of knowledge, complicated gameplay, high fees...etc. So, what is your plan to overcome this issues and educate the non-crypto users about Blockchain and NFT ?

good question, we have created a bridging hub for BSC and ETH to bridge over to polygon, so that all IN-GAME transactions are almost instant and FREE.

We have created beginner guides for non-crypto users as well as KOLs from all over the world to create simple guides to help non-crypto users.

Our goal is to give a seamless gaming experience.

Why do You think it is important for the community members?
At what price these NFTs be sold?

the NFT WonderBox sale is very important for community members, especially giving an early advantage to you guys. The prices seen at the WonderBox sale will never be seen again after that. Also, having the NFTs early would give you an edge to:
1. Play to earn more tokens
2. Be a sponsor to get scholars to play the game for you and play to earn tokens
3. Sell on our NFT marketplace

❇️ I noticed that both $WND and $HON tokens will be required to purchase and upgrade our heroes' items. Why did you decide to require both tokens for this, wouldn't it be a bit tedious? What is the idea behind this?

❇️ I take the opportunity to ask what you mean by "upgrades". Is it possible, for example, to buy a low cost weapon and upgrade it to a more powerful one? I would appreciate if you could explain this to us.

Remember, WonderHero is created with the mission to provide stable income for players from all walks of life. $HON is the main play to earn token, so it will become stable and wont affect the players' income. $WND is the governance token and provides a smaller portion to the play to earn aspect. So $HON's stability in prices help to keep more players and maybe even get more players onboard.

It is possible to buy a low cost weapon and upgrade to a 5star weapon. i think that would be everyone's goal, so that with more powerful items, you can get to level up faster and play to earn more tokens at the tough rounds.

I could read that in WonderHero "All heroes can be unlocked through game progression", but will heroes really be released so that users can use them for free? Or will it really be released, so that gamers can buy them? If so, how much will each hero consist of?

after playing the PVE rounds, you get free NFT drops, some of them are hero NFTs. But note that in order to start playing the game, you need 1 hero + 1 weapon to start the game.

you can also buy the heroes from the marketplace. However, i highly recommend you to take part in our WonderBox sale, you will have enough NFTs to get a head start for the game.

Besides the WonderBox sale, which is set by the project, the cost for each hero is up to the marketprice, it is not set by us.

What are the In-Game fee users have to pay?

Certainly, the team is fully hands on to deliver the highest standard of gaming experience for the launch date. But at the same time, here are our top 3 focus:
1) Building a highly passionate family of gamers

We recognize the success of any game/project lies in having solid support and contribution from a large community of users. We are super psyched that we have active members who are very supportive of WonderHero and engaging with conversations daily in our Telegram chat group, and we love to welcome more like minded gamers into our family. Fresh ideas, genuine feedback and suggestions, we want to build the best gaming community ever with WonderHero, as it is truly a DeFi project to empower gamers across the world and give them a voice in the future direction of the project too.
2) Uncompromised quality for the game experience

From the blockchain user experience to the game design down to the guides we are preparing, the team is not going to compromise on delivering the best experience possible to our community. We believe it is most crucial to make WonderHero accessible to not only crypto savvy gamers but also be inclusive and friendly to those who are just starting out.

This is a pivotal moment in the history of gaming, much like how the invention of the iPhone defines and sets the benchmark for mobile experience and paved the way to the dominance of mobile games. Max allocation per person: $150 (USD)
