Zerohash launches AUTH to move crypto across 600+ linked accounts
Sending crypto between apps still means copying long addresses, picking the right network and often making a test payment first. Zerohash wants to remove those steps with AUTH, a new transfer service unveiled at Money20/20 in Las Vegas.
Users pick a linked account or wallet inside an app that offers AUTH, sign in and approve the move. Zerohash handles routing and settlement, while each app decides which assets, accounts and transfer types it allows. The service covers crypto, stablecoins and tokenized securities such as stock tokens.
AUTH supports 639 wallets plus Coinbase, Robinhood and Gemini, with Kraken in beta.
The product will be run by Ryan Beaudry, formerly an open finance executive at Mastercard. The launch comes as Zerohash, which powers crypto for Morgan Stanley's E*Trade, waits on a refiled national trust bank charter application with the OCC after its first filing was returned in July.
