Uniswap Labs opens TJAR fee conversion to any app, Robinhood signs on first

Apps that charge fees get paid in whatever tokens their users trade, which can mean thousands of assets scattered across chains. Uniswap Labs now offers its Token Jar framework to any team as TJAR, so those fees arrive in a single chosen token.

Apps deposit fees into a jar, set a price and a destination, and searchers compete to pay that price and release the jar's contents. Setup takes one transaction, and settings can be changed later or locked permanently. TJAR is live on seven chains, with more planned.

The system was first built for Uniswap Protocol fees and handled more than $15.3M in conversions in September.

Robinhood is the first named user: it runs TJAR across its supported chains for fees collected through the Uniswap API and receives them in USDC and USDG. Existing Uniswap API integrators can switch by setting a jar as the fee recipient in their quote requests.
