Strive adds 124 BTC for $10M, lifting its treasury to 43,124 BTC
The bitcoin treasury company made the purchases between Oct. 24 and Oct. 30, as disclosed in a Monday filing with the SEC. The buy is a slowdown after Strive picked up around $1.25 billion of BTC in October alone.
Strive now holds 43,124 BTC and ranks fourth among public companies, behind Strategy (849,327 BTC), Metaplanet (44,000 BTC) and Twenty One (43,514 BTC).
CEO Matt Cole has set a goal of becoming the second-largest public bitcoin holder by year-end. At current holdings, Strive would need fewer than 100 BTC per week for the rest of 2026 to overtake Metaplanet, assuming the Japanese company stops buying.
Most of the latest purchases were funded with existing cash, and Strive also tapped its $1 billion SATS preferred stock at-the-market program for the first time. The company ended Oct. 30 with $490.4 million in cash and equivalents, down $14 million in a week.
