Robinhood Chain Recovers From Outage as Block Production Remains Delayed
Robinhood Chain is gradually recovering after an outage halted block production for more than 14 minutes, leaving transactions stalled.
The latest block was still being produced several minutes behind real time, suggesting the network has not fully returned to normal. Robinhood has not disclosed the cause of the disruption or provided a recovery timeline.
The chain normally produces a block every 0.1 seconds, meaning the 14-minute halt represents roughly 8,400 missed blocks. Before the outage, Robinhood Chain processed 14.14M transactions over 24 hours, with $2.46B in assets on-chain.
The incident also highlights decentralization concerns, as Robinhood Chain relies on a single sequencer and allows instant contract upgrades. L2BEAT currently ranks the network below Stage 0.
Despite the disruption, the chain recently recorded a $1.06B daily DEX volume record, driven largely by meme-coin activity.
