RLUSD has adopted Wormhole’s NTT standard to enable native multichain issuance across Layer 2 networks, starting with Base, Optimism, Ink, and Unichain. 

The Wormhole's NTT removes the need for wrapped assets or fragmented liquidity, allowing a single canonical version of RLUSD to exist natively on each chain while Ripple retains control of the token contracts.
