Privacy Cash pauses deposits after Binance hacker moves $798K in SOL

The $6.34B Binance breach from October 29 has now reached Solana privacy tooling. On November 3 an address linked to the attacker deposited 8,567 SOL into Privacy Cash pools, and the team responded by pausing new deposits and tightening its wallet screening.

Withdrawals remain open during the pause, so existing users can still exit. Privacy Cash, which says it has processed over $600M for more than 170K users, has not set a date for resuming deposits.

Roughly $3.18B still sits in theft-linked addresses, mostly in ETH and BTC, while $2.85B has been frozen or seized.

The pause limits further mixing through one venue, but laundering of the stolen funds already spans about 12,000 wallets on 11 blockchains, including Bitcoin CoinJoin rounds and cross-chain bridges out of Tron.
