Sonic Labs is set to release Sonic, an EVM platform, in Q4 2024. Sonic is expected to be a Layer 1 solution with more than 10,000 TPS and one-second transaction confirmation. The change from Fantom to Sonic Labs also entails the use of a new token, S, instead of FTM.
