The Ethereum treasury company kept its weekly buying streak alive, acquiring 12,535 ETH over the past week. BitMine says it has bought ETH every week since launching its treasury strategy on June 30, 2025.

As of October 18, BitMine holds 6,041,481 ETH, about 4.9% of the 122.1M ETH supply, and is 99% of the way to its 5% target.

Of that stack, 5,067,309 ETH ($12B at $2,365 per ETH) is staked, partly through its own MAVAN validator network. Total crypto, cash and marketable securities come to $15.1B, including 215 BTC, $582M in cash and securities, and stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco.

BitMine remains the largest ETH treasury and the second largest crypto treasury overall, behind Strategy. Chairman Tom Lee linked the recent market weakness to de-risking in AI stocks, US-Iran tensions and rising bond yields.
