Citadel SecuritiesCitadel Securities, the market maker arm of Ken Griffin-led hedge fund Citadel, announced that VC firms Sequoia Capital and Paradigm made a $1.15 billion combined minority investment in the market maker, bringing its valuation to $22 billion. (source)

Luna Foundation GuardThe nonprofit organization focused on the open-source stablecoin network behind Terra USD, Luna Foundation Guard, said Jump Crypto and Three Arrows Capital led the $1 billion round with participation from DeFiance Capital, Republic Capital, GSR, Tribe Capital and others. Dapper LabDapper Labs announced a $725 million fund for Flow blockchain ecosystem. The fund is backed by investors with large holdings of the network’s native token, FLOW, as well as equity in Dapper Labs itself. They include Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Coatue, Union Square Ventures, Greenfield One, Liberty City Ventures and CoinFund, among others. (source)

Cross RiverCRB Group, Inc., the parent company of Cross River Bank (“Cross River”), a technology infrastructure provider that offers embedded financial solutions announced a $620 million financing. The round was led by Eldridge and Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from funds and accounts advised by T. Rowe Price Investment Management, Inc., Whale Rock and Hanaco Ventures. (source)

Fireblocks Digital asset infrastructure provider Fireblocks has raised $500 M from investors, which lifted the company’s value at $8 billion. Funding was led by D1 Capital Partners and Spark Capital in participation with other investors such as General Atlantic, Altimeter, Index Ventures and CapitalG, Alphabet’s growth fund. (source)

PolygonPolygon has raised $450 million in a new venture financing round as the firm, with a market cap of about $13 billion, aggressively expands its portfolio of Ethereum scaling solutions. Sequoia Capital India led Polygon’s first major financing round. Tiger Global and SoftBank as well as Galaxy Digital, Republic Capital, Makers Fund, Dune Ventures, Alexis Ohanian’s Seven Seven Six, Steadview Capital, Unacademy, Elevation Capital, Animoca Brands also participated in the private token purchase. ConsensysConsenSys announced the close of a $450M financing round, bringing its valuation to over $7B. ParaFi Capital led this raise after participating in ConsenSys’ Series C round in November 2021. They were joined by new investors, including Temasek, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Microsoft, Anthos Capital, Sound Ventures, and C Ventures.
