Pavel Durov says Telegram will build a native, non-custodial Gram wallet into every version of the app this summer, bringing instant, zero-fee crypto to its 1B+ users.

Durov calls it the largest non-custodial wallet deployment in history. It supports Gram — Telegram’s native token, rebranded from Toncoin in June — and keeps users in full control of their keys, secured by two-factor authentication on their Telegram account.

Built on the MyTonWallet engine, it follows a 2025 pilot that put a non-custodial TON wallet in front of 87M US users. Now the rollout goes global across the whole app.
