This is Nicolas, BD head of Rangers Protocol, as you already know. 😂
I’ve been in the blockchain field for 3 year, and have served Rangers Protocol’s incubator, MixMarve,as Thier global marketing head for more than 2 years
I have also witnessed the birth of Rangers Protocol and it’s multiple upgrades.

Q2: Can you introduce Rangers Protocol to us?

Sure
Rangers Protocol is an underlying infrastructure.
Its products currently have dapp-DeFi lending protocol BlueStone. The products currently being deployed are a series of tools that bring convenience to developers and users, such as block explorers and NFT demos.
The special feature of Rangers Protocol is that it has gradually developed into the comprehensive basic bottom layer of the vertical field. It currently includes the Rangers Engine that supports NFT and complex application development, and the Rangers Connector that supports asset cross-chain.
In the future, Rangers Protocol will also add new toolsets and IDEs that will lower the developer's development threshold. This is what distinguishes it from other projects. At present, there is no low-level facility on the market that combines low-level development and cross-chain integration like Rangers Protocol.

What has been completed so far is that the Rangers Protocol testnet has been launched, and the first dapp, BlueStone, has been successfully deployed.
Next, we will upgrade the testnet and launch the mainnet in Q4. In terms of technological progress, we can show you a technical roadmap so that everyone can see what we have already achieved, what we are doing, and where we will succeed in the future.

I learnt of your partnership MixMarvel and also thay Ranger Protocol enhances in-game speed in blockchain games. Does this mean that MixMarvel utilizes Rangers Protocol for their blockchain gameing like dehero?

Rangers Protocol is a different project from MixMarvel.Rangers Protocol's former version, Rocket Protocol, was a layer-2 solution that supported the applications of the MixMarvel ecosystem apps. After years of development and upgrade, Rocket Protocol became Rangers Protocol, an independent blockchain infrastructure.
MixMarvel as a blockchain game publishing platform is more on the application later. On the other had, Rangers Protocol is an infrastructure that provides technical upport.
So they are ecosystems on two different dimensions.
However, Rangers Protocol and MixMarvel will be able to help complete the missing parts of eachother.
Of course we’ve also established cooperation with DeHero this year.

I read that $RPG will join the staking program on MixMarvelFinance. What is the advantage of liquidity mining pools in MixMarvelFinance with $RPG and how do we participate in this staking program?

MixMarvel is the incubator of Rangers Protocol and MixMarvel.Finance is a staking platform for the MixMarvel ecosystem products. With the help of this platform, the liquidity of Rangers Protocol Gas $RPG reached ~$2M shortly after the launch.

how is the allocation of $RPG divided??

You mean Tokenomics?
We have to discuss this matter from three aspects: the initial allocation of tokens, the unlock cycle and the number of unlocks.
The token distribution mechanism of $RPG is: investors (10%), core team (14%), incubators and consultants (7%), eco fund (20%), ecological community (49%), treasure (0%). This picture can make it a little clearer.

Among them, investors unlock linearly every day, and the unlock is completed within 400 days. In the unlock cycle of the core team, incubators, consultants, and ecosystem community, 8% of the remaining amount is released every 180 days.
The eco fund decides whether to use it through community votes. Here’s also a picture to show the unlocking cycle works.

🥇 One of the main features or functionalities of Rangers Protocol is what you have called the VRF+BLS consensus mechanism based on RPOS? Can you tell us about this? What solutions does it bring to the current blockchain ecosystem?

Nicolas Zhu

VRF consensus algorithms such as Algorand usually select multiple verification nodes to vote for the candidate blocks in each consensus round. The verification group signature mechanism mainly uses the BLS algorithm.
The VRF algorithm guarantees that the proposal nodes and verification groups are random, unpredictable, unselectable, and unconcealable.
From the perspective of communication complexity, signature length, and performance, we believe that the BLS threshold signature algorithm is more suitable for the verification groups rather than the Byzantine fault-tolerant algorithm.

Can you compare $Rangers protocol to IMMUTABLE and RONIN which are two networks, that currently focus on the NFT market and optimize the non-financial application experience of the Ethereum network. Is there anyway that Ranger Protocol edge out these two networks ? Can you explain how Ranger Protocol beats these networks ?

In terms of technology selection, we actually do not position any project or product as a competitor to Rangers Protocol. But projects like Immutable X, and Ronin, game bottom layers, are relatively similar to Rangers protocol.
The difference is that Rangers Protocol is a comprehensive underlying infrastructure. It currently includes a Rangers Engine that supports NFT and complex application development and a Rangers Connector that supports asset cross-chain. These are also the core killer features of Rangers Protocol.
Ronin and Immutable X, which are layer-2 projects, are also not in competition with Rangers Protocol in terms of positioning.
