Q1: Can you introduce yourself to our community?

I am Sandeep, Co-founder and CEO at Playcent, thanks for having me.
I have worked with an early stage investment firm since 2017 and has plenty of network connections in the Blockchain and gaming industry.
I started Playcent with my Co-Founder Jay in late 2019 when we found an opportunity for a No code platform to democratize software development.
At playcent, I am involved in all key decisions from a product, tech to marketing, and lead the company

Q2: Can you briefly introduce Playcent to us?

Playcent is a blockchain-powered template based platform allowing NFT creators, Developers and consumers to monetize their skills. Playcent suite of products include a layer 2 NFT marketplace, Esports sdk and a mini-apps remix engine.
TikTok popularized “remix” culture ( users remixing existing video and audio clips ) and has grown to billions of users, but Playcent wants to go one step further by making mini-apps, games, and dapps remixable.

Q3: Let`s now talk about the milestones you have achieved so far and about your upcoming plans?

We started Playcent development in Q1 2020 and have been quite active since then. We have launched a beta version of the product with over 20 templates in Q3 2020.
Recently we have integrated a token ecosystem around our platform and we are currently in testnet (Matic chain). Here is our roadmap for the upcoming months https://whitepaper.playcent.com/roadmap
We are currently working on creator kit, these are templates that allow creators to monetize and engage from their community.
We are also working on a layer2 NFT marketplace, where anyone can mint and trade NFTs with no code

1. On your road map, I see that the E-Sports platform beta have been planned for Q3 2021. Can you please tell us the kind of games you intend to have in there? And will the platform be for only games created on Playcent?

2. It seems almost everything on the Playcent platform is free. So where will you get income from?

Sandeep Sudagani

Playcent charges ~5% transaction fees on all the payments on Playcent platform. Utilizing basic features of the product for free, and charging for any premium content (Example: Social token available as payment requires the user to have its premium unlocked).

for the e-sports platform, we will be working on adding hypercasual games created on playcent platfrom and from our gaming partners

Playcent is built on ethereum and runs on the Matic blockchain. What are your reasons and goals for running on two different blockchains?

Sandeep Sudagani

Playcent is built on ethereum and runs on Matic blockchain. We initially chose Ethereum back in 2019 due to the number of developers building on the platform, and the ability to build an MVP quickly. As time passed it became clear that building a blockchain UGC Platform solely on Ethereum would not be feasible from a scalability standpoint.

We have chose Matic Network as our scaling solution due to the following reasons:

Low fees
High performance
Open & Decentralized
Easy deployment

How to keep the motivation for holding $PCNT tokens long term? How is $PCNT token used?

1: Governance, where token holders decide on things like emissions, distribution, upvotes etc
2: In-app currency for all the dapps & games
3: Early access of games for token holders and other premium services
4: Subscriptions, asset marketplace transactions will be charged in PCNT token
5: Rewards are distributed to creators, developers and consumers in PCNT tokens

$PCNT will be used as a base ecosystem payment currency and token holders can stake, participate in the governance, and also control the treasury funds.

Token demand might increase as the treasury funds grow and transactions on playcent platform increase.

All these different features I saw in just one platform, what is the mechanism behind coupling so many features together in one platform and will users be able to earn while they use these features ?

All these templates are form variants for creating interactive content. Creators and users will be rewarded based on the content and the activity they perform on the platform

Has your project been fully decentralized?and will there be any risk of centralization in the future?

Through PCNT, Playcent will gradually evolve into a community-owned Decentralized Organization. This process occurs as PCNT is distributed among users.

Q1. I didn't see you talk about the utilities of the $PCNT token through out the course of your introduction, can you please tell us what the token does and why we should hold

Q2. How does Developers, Creators, and Consumers benefit from Playcent platform? I would like you to walk us through the process of how the ecosystem accommodate all these 3 categories of people?

Here is how the ecosystem work:

1: Developers creating game, dapp and social token templates:
Developers create templates on the playcent platform and get rewarded under developer reward program.

2: Creators remix developer templates and launch their own dapps, games and NFTs using Playcent visual interfaces.

Creator gets paid when consumers do In-app transactions or play/browse their games, dapps.

3: Consumers play, browse and transact on the playcent platform. Consumers/gamers will be rewarded based on their activity on the Platform.

✅Considering that the PlayCent platform supports different subscription models, then can you explain what are the benefits of being a premium user over a regular user?

✅PlayCent offer good revenues to those that work with their mechanism and have the role of "developer", but can you tell me which Incentives do you offer to the players or content consumers? They can obtain revenues just for playing games?

premium users get NFT airdrops, additional features like discounted transaction fees, early access to games etc.,

2: Community governed platform that rewards it’s network participants based on their Activity

3: Creator tools that enable influencers to issue a social token and monetize using creator kit

When will the world stop being afraid to use NFT? What is Playcent doing for the mass adoption of its technology?

we are working on the UX, by abstracting blockchain with social logins, gasless transactions etc.,

with this we will be able to onboard mainstream users
