Our test net is up and running for a while now. Main net is scheduled to go live in June to coincide with TGE
Some interesting stats so far that you can also find on our website. Also we have also raised 3.5MM to date!

Why is Partisia better for developers to build DeFi products in comparison with other platforms?

Great question. DeFi is certainly an exciting innovation on top of blockchain technology. However, current DeFi is hindered by several flaws like low TPS, centralization or no interoperability. Partisia will be the center of the new DeFi Economy by enabling cross-chain value exchange and acting as L2 of all current L1s, backed by ZK computation and staking. Besides scalability, transparency and privacy, PBC staking creates an incentive layer amongst ZK node operators to avoid bad behavior.

How is MPC token used? What benefits and value will it bring to the users who own it?

The most important trait of MPC token is staking. Node operators will need to buy MPC tokens in order to stake and stakes function as an insurance against fraudulent behaviors. Different jobs require different stakes e.g. baker, ZK computation and oracle. You can view MPC token as a store of value

What are main key points to making Partisia strong about security , Protection and speed?

Another great question! Security and privacy is one of Partisia's strongest suits. This is achieved via ZK computations or Secure Multiparty Computation (MPC). The team behind Partisia Blockchain is one of the most experienced teams in ZK computations, from the initial mathematical proofs in 1988 to the first real-life large scale and commercial use in 2008, which marks the starting point for the past 10 years’ collective effort to truly commercialise ZK computation. Speed is another strength of PBC, which is achieved via sharding. You probably hear about this. Sharding basically frees blockchain from any upper limit on TPS and congestion. Our first version of the main net will include sharding!

To be able to run a node on Partisia Blockchain, what are the necessary conditions? Does the current Partisia model consume more resources than the traditional use?

Bryan Partisia

You will need to obtain enough MPC tokens to run a node. There are different types of node that require different amount of PBC tokens (baker, zk or oracle nodes).
Bitcoin energy consumption is rising rapidly as the value of BTC increases. This will soon become unsustainable. Staking solves this problem

Feature is the most vital thing in building project growth, a product will not develop without good feature and promotion, whatever it is good. Can you provide a list of killer features that scare your competitors over your project?

"Scare" seems like a strong word haha but we do have the following advantages over current Layer 1 competitors:
1. Scalability and speed
2. Privacy preserving features
3. Interoperability

What is the advantage of Partisia Blockchain if compared to other blockchain? and does this network support cross-chain and lower fees?

Yes and yes. Partisia blockchain is agnostic and able to facilitate both privacy and transactions across chains at a fraction of the cost, not to mention the scalability via sharding

1. I tried to run a node from your website and was redirected to send a mail to accounts@pbc.foundation. But after sending the mail, I got no reply. Is there any other way to run a node on your platform?

2. The core goal of Partisia Blockchain in 2021 is the launch of the Partisia Blockchain Mainnet. What should users expect from the Mainnet?

1. If you'd like to participate in running node, please reach out directly to @PartisiaAdmin via telegram and he will assist you
2. Yes the goal for now is main net launch in June. Users can expect to see cross chain demonstrators and Bring Your Own Coin with ETH, EOS chains. In fact, we will launch a demo this week on PBC that can move assets back and forth between ETH and EOS mainnet
