Hey everyone 👋 Devansh here. Head os Ops at Ape Market.
Happy to be here :) Currently in San Francisco, Ca

Got my first taste of crypto in 2013 after acquiring BTC. Held it till 2016 not knowing what it was about and the potential it had. I started gaining more interest about blockchain technology in 2016 and actively started investing and buying ETH P2P

As Part of multiple syndicates from 2016 till 2019 and in 2020, I decided to enter the institutional side of the field. Strategies, analysis and BD and noticed I had to level the playing field for institutions and retail. This is when APE Market entered the picture :)

At APE.Market, we are building Carta for crypto: Managing crypto equity starting by bringing liquidity to the locked assets. There are market products for spot trading, futures, and options, as well as public sale / IDO products, yet not much has been done for the private market

We have developed a new segment of tools that will ensure trustless, transparent, and secure transactions and economy on the private market in crypto

Let`s now talk about the milestones you have achieved so far and about your upcoming plans?

We have recently conducted our early investment rounds and have some of the top backers in the industry. We were heavily oversubscribed for the seed & private rounds. I will share further details on our social channels in the coming weeks

We have completed the MVP phase of the project and are currently developing the next phase in the APE Market evolution :)

We have strategic partnerships with multiple well-known ecosystems and exchanges who will be utilizing our tools and technology that we have developed. More details TBA during MVP launch

We are ready to unveil the MVP platform to our users and institutional partners next month. Very excited to welcome all members from global communities to be a part of the ecosystem

Completed phase 1 and are close to wrapping up phase 2 as well
The main tools we have developed to facilitate a flourishing ecosystem in the private market place are:

- Smart Deal Flow
- Smart Agreement
- Liquid Escrow
- Social Investing layer

Currently, all private deals are done through SAFT. This method is super old school, inefficient, and does not ensure a punctual token distribution. A Smart Agreement is an ERC721 standard to start with (will support multi-chains) which was introduced to ensure both the buyer's and the sellers' commitments are met. Also ensuring a trustless distribution based on the terms agreed by the parties involved

The Smart Agreements are use to ensure the Smart Deal Flow is secure, transparent and trustless

Retail investors will have the same opportunities as institutional investors by opening up the seed and private sale market to them

Liquid Escrow is a framework that utilizes the Smart Agreement tools through which investors and traders can access liquidity from otherwise illiquid assets.

APE Market enables splitting, merging, and transferring of vesting, locked assets. This can be used to offer fractionalized allocations if need be. The Smart Agreements can be used as collateral on our platform + other platforms

Social Finance does not offer monetization on existing platforms such as Twitter, Discord, and Telegram. We introduced Social Investing which allows users to create their profiles on-chain

Users can utilize Smart Agreements to ensure a trustless, transparent, and secure exchange of capital. This framework provides an opportunity to build a reputation and trust as the investments will be visible on-chain and transparent, unlike most scenarios

Users can monetize via engagements and research by achieving tiered ratings and build on-chain decentralized brands. The higher the ratings/rankings on the profile, the higher the likelihood of projects accepting your requests for allocations

Moreover, the same groups can exponentially expand and scale-out globally by utilizing building their social profiles through which they can create and be a part of syndicates and collaborations
The Smart Agreements can be utilized to create and manage on-chain, transparent hedge funds in which APE Market users can request to be liquidity providers. Syndicate creators can accept or reject the LPs based on their social rankings
Our native token, APE, will be utilized across multiple sections in our ecosystem

**Incentives**

- Bigger allocations
- Early and exclusive access to projects

**Rewards**

- Hedge investments by using APE as an index for primary markets
- Yield farming to earn from platform fee

**Governance**

- Partake in voting and pass proposals via the DAO

**Projects and Syndicates can stake APE token to:**

- Bid for promotional spots for the project for a certain time period
- Use fair and secure affiliate marketing to amplify your projects reach
Finally I would like to add that we will host a special private sale allocation for our early supporters. This will be offered on the APE Market platform next month. Details TBA soon

Great question!
We started on the Ethereum blockchain but APE Market is chain agnostic. We are going to feature startups from multiple chains thus we will support the Solana ecosystem next, after which we will unveil further plans.

Why are phases of your roadmap named after geological periods like Paleozoic, Encephalization etc? Does the project have any connection with ancient historic times?

We feel that APE Market is an evolution towards many functions that our industry partakes in. For that reason, we included the geological periods

What are your security measures adopted from hacking and bugs in smart contract ? Have you conducted any audit to make your smart contract safe?

We are paying a lot of attention to this. Too many exploits and unfortunate events in the DeFi space. We are going to conduct 2 audits:
- Slow mist
- Hacken
+ Our engineers have security as high priority on their agenda since the inception of the project.

What is the APE Index Fund ? What are the utilities of the fund and who are eligible to access it?

That is our demo landing page. The MVP website will be live next month and the same button will redirect you to our app, where you will be able to easily follow prompts. We focused on making the platform user-friendly & intuitive.

Definitely! I feel very lucky to be working with an amazing team.

All over team members are based in Silicon Valley (San Francisco, Ca)
Our team is comprised of ex Google, Twitter, Yahoo, Turo and Tron, and more. Currently the core team is comprised of 5 members: 4 technical and 1 non-technical. However, every member is like a swiss-army knife and is always cross-collaborating 🏆

How do transaction fees work now? I think I remember in the past they were moved from a % of the transaction cost to something relating to the amount of memory the transaction uses? Could there be some examples of how that would work in practice? This is not explained at all on the website

There are multiple features that make APE Market stand apart from the crowd. A very simple, yet highly needed feature:

You paid for your assets, so don't leave them in the seller's wallet. Now make your assets useful again through Liquid Escrow even when they are locked up. Utilize your locked assets through the vesting period by using your Smart Agreements as collateral and/or to earn a yield wile you wait for your tokens to unlock for the next 2-3-4... years.
