X has introduced stricter measures to combat content theft and engagement farming within its Creator Revenue Sharing program. Using an upgraded version of Grok AI, the platform can now detect duplicated content three times more effectively than before.

According to X, creators who repost stolen content, even with edits such as watermarks, intros, or overlays, will no longer receive monetization, with eligible revenue instead being redirected to the original creator. The system also applies to copied viral text posts.

X says it detected 1.5 million stolen posts in its latest review cycle, with over $1 million in creator payouts being reassigned to original authors. Users who repeatedly engage in content theft or engagement bait risk being removed from the Creator Program and may face account suspension.
