Bybit has gone live in Indonesia with a locally licensed exchange, regulated by the country’s Financial Services Authority (OJK), after taking a majority stake in local platform PT Enkripsi Teknologi Handal (formerly NOBI).

The exchange opens with 500+ trading pairs alongside institutional-grade liquidity, market surveillance and risk controls, and Bybit plans to add more products in phases as compliance allows. A local team will run operations and regulatory engagement, backed by localized Bybit Learn education — deepening Bybit’s push into Southeast Asia’s biggest crypto market.
