StackOS AMA Recap

Cryptodiffer TeamCryptodiffer Team

Hello, everyone!😁
We are glad to meet here:

Vishnu Korde - CEO and Chief Architect of StackOS
Welcome Vishnu, thank you for taking your time today!

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Thank you very much for having me here @oliubashevskyi ! I hear you have an amazing community!
πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer TeamCryptodiffer Team

Our team has prepared 3 questions for you to start with:
Let`s start with the introduction !
Q1: Can you introduce yourself to our community?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Of course, I am the CEO and Chief Architect of StackOS, and have a background in engineering and have a patent in cryogenic engines. Have 2 masters degree, one in International Business and second one in Finance from Harvard University.
My background experience has been focussed in could engineering (DevSecOps) and have build products and services which are cloud native and migrated really large organizations from datacentres to cloud....
We have been building a product called Integro which was a decentralized learning management system which used blockchain to provide micro scholarships... but the infrastructure was centralized so we were building a product to solve our own problem of centralized infrastructure, and this solution is now called StackOS.

Cryptodiffer TeamCryptodiffer Team

thank you Vishnu
Q2: Can you introduce StackOS to us?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

StackOS is a cross chain open infrastructure protocol that allows individuals to collectively offer a decentralized cloud where you can deploy any full-stack application, decentralized app, blockchain privatenets and mainnet nodes.
The main objective of StackOS is to have a decentralized infrastructure for any application in the world. As a byproduct, we have created a system to have the revenue earned by these giant organizations like (AWS, Azure, GCP) spread out to the community as a whole. To make this successful, we have invested in making a blockchain project...not like a blockchain! UX has been the key focus.

Cryptodiffer TeamCryptodiffer Team

πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
Q3: Let`s now talk about the milestones you have achieved so far and about your upcoming plans?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Yeah absolutely!
So what really distinguishes us from anyone else is, we have been working for over 3 years on StackOS, and its a very difficult problem to solve. After years of sleepless nights we have been able to crack the solution to this.

Mid last year, we built out the solution for the Infra Mesh, the infrastructure that is used to run any application in the world (any traditional, or blockchain nodes)

In the december last year, we proved the functioning of the Becaon Node --> the protection mecanism for the infra mesh

2 months back we partnered with Chainlink, and are one of the few partners who have opend the solution of Decentralized DNS orcle service, which now Chainlink offers to the entire blockchain community.

last month we opened the soft lauch of the StackOS on testnet, and we had over 1000 application deployed in just few hours. πŸ™‚
Its only after we were conviced that we can actually get to mainnet we started to raise funds.... we did not want to raise money based on an idea or just on a whitepaper. We are a responsible and a seasoned team... πŸ™‚
We are currently over subscribed, and have some very high value investors backing us!
Hope this gives a basic idea πŸ™‚ but there is a lot more....

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Kudos to the StackOS team for providing us with such a wonderful and novel solution. Three years working on the decentralized cloud protocol isn't an easy task I must say. Could you tell us some of the problems/difficulties you encountered while working on StackOS? Did you guys think of giving up at a time due to the challenges you encountered or you were very optimistic right from the start? Kindly share your thoughts and experiences with us

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Thank you very much, @Abisola1 ! Life is tough, and we learn along the way... we made mistakes, and we learnt from them. One thing that we have learnt is that user experience is the key to success, we didnt focus on it initially... we were writing APIs, its only when we learnt from our community that if we cant provide a great user experience we cant get adoption. and we have tried to solve this πŸ™‚

We as an origanization solve problems that dont have solutions, unlike many teams that build a solution and them try to fit them in a use case. So we have made several technical decisions and revised them, with the focus on problem. so while we were optimistic that one way or the other wee will get there πŸ™‚ we are a positive team!

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

so we must hold bscpad tokens to be able to participate in the presale? What will be the fundraising amount on BSCPAD ?does this require a special wallet??

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

I am not an expert here, but will defer this to the BSCPad and @Phosphorz can also help you get the right answer.

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

on the website written StackOS provides Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) circuits, what are these circuits like? What are the advantages of having this chain for blockchain developers? give us some of the advantages of the series.

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Hi @agathabri ! Any developer experince needs a CI/CD taken care of by default, its only then, developers stop focussing on infrastructure and focus on product development.

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

I think in order for you to grow, your decentralized cloud needs both compute resource providers and those that will deploying nodes. What mechanism has the team put in place to help reward the various parties involved in the StackOS protocol?

I'm aware that the $STACK tokens are intertwined in the StackOS ecosystem, if you don't mind telling us the role it plays and benefits of having it as a holder?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Great question @kunlefighter ! Yes StackOS ecosystem is a 2 sided marketplace, one from developrs and other from the infrastructure providers.

There are honestly a lot of utilities of using the $STACK token, but to give a one or two sentences.
1) you need to stake STACK tokens to be able to launch a node (and running these nodes generate revenue)
2) It is needed to genetrate NFTs for the application marketplace
3) We have built an ecosytem where any user in the community can draw the compute from the cloud providers (like AWS, GCP) and add that to the StackOS ecosystem. This is going to be as easy as a click on a button. πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

There are other competitors like IBM Cloud, Azure, and others in the field of decentralized cloud and they have really done their best for the space. What has StackOS innovated to contribute and complement what they have done? And as a decentralized cloud network, what really differentiates you from a centralized cloud network?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Hey @K2ice , do you remeber just 2 years back, no matter which reagion you deployed to, and anyone who used AWS S3 was shut down? Its centralized if its a single entity running it...
Also any one of these entities can block their cloud service to their customers (its not censorship resistant) .., this again happned in January this year midst the US politics.

Again its centralized πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Is there a maximum cap to buy per a person in StackOS IDO?

How many members will be selected to whitelist in upcoming IDO ?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

these are applied by the Launchpads, not by us... but we encorage distribution on the tokens to the smallest degree... we are focussed on decentralization πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

How do you keep your platform safe for Investors, and is your platform protected from hackers? And how do you manage if there's an attack on your platform, including the personal data of your platform's users? Is your platform ready for this?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

We do not collect any personal data, so we cant lose them πŸ™‚ == you as a developer are protected πŸ™‚ thayt is the only way we can be censorship resistent

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Can users run their private testnet on StackOS if they want to test their DApp privately?
What are the advantages of StackOS in supporting multiple blockchain protocols?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Yes they can, we also provide them now in our own testnet.... did I mention that our entire StackOS platform is deployed on itself? we are using our own protocol to provide the protocol πŸ™‚

You cant tie yourself to one blockchain and hope that you will get adoption, hence cross chain. the future is in interoperability...

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

What is StackOS long-term vision about the industry which you are working on? Are you afraid some day there will be another project with more innovative technology can replace your project?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

No we are not afraid πŸ™‚ we have been working on it for 3 years... but whats unique is, we are a protocol, not a cloud privider, anyone can build on our protocol.... their own nodes and earn revenue from it.
while cloud providers have something to worry about not the oes who are building a protocol..

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

What difficulties have been encountered during the development of StackOS ?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

time πŸ™‚ there are just 24 hours in a day !!

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

What are the most notable benefits for users who buy STACK and hold them? Where I can buy STACK token, does STACK available at any exchange?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

We have a token utility document, which you can refer to... @Phosphorz can point you that. (dont want to post here and get banned πŸ™‚ )

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

What can StackOS offer to solve the scaling problem? And how does StackOS deal with the threat of centralization?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

we leverage the centralized services to decentralize the deployments....
Also, I mentined on an earlier response, anyone in the community can click a button to deploy a node on the AWS, GCP etc.... so it in not possible to centralize. πŸ™‚ there is an arbitrage opportunity, and no one has to be tech savy to do it....

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

What is the lesson that you want to leave the ecosystem with this peculiar project called StackOS ?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Focus on User experience! If you build blockchain tools and make it hard to use, no one will use you.... adoption starts with making it easy to use.

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Many projects rug pulled and exit scam recently. Why should investors trust your project not to do the same?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

we have been in this space for over 3 years, and have nit raised money even in the early part of this cycle πŸ™‚ does it not tell you someth9ing about us..... but pease DYOR.. this is not an investment opportunity.

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

I have seen that you have done many AMAs, my question is, what do you expect to get from so many AMAs and what are your goals with the community? Do you consider the community to be a fundamental role in the project?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Many key decisions we have made has been based on the community feedback. We are doing these for bui;ding our community πŸ™‚
never underestimate the power of the masses... !!

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

What role do you think StackOS will play in making blockchain highly adaptable for the worldwide stage?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Very key role.... we are strategizing to be Chainlink of cloud computing....

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

We know The strength of the project is always based on partner investors and the community, what is your idea to combine these 2 things?
and how do you convince users that StackOS is a long-term and quality project?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

I encourage you to see our demonstration video, and if you want to test it out, kindly fill out our form to get test resources to run your apps.. I assure you I will not have to convince you πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Token burn” is beneficial for any project, in being able to control the number of token circulation and to provide greater incentives to investors. Does your great project have a plan about token burn?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Yes token burns are fundamental... and we plan to open its rate be managed by a DAO

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

For a secondary market to exist, there must be people willing to put up capital and take advantage of opportunities. What are the secondary market incentives and how does STACK incentivize this process?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Yes there is liquidity mining planned, and also Marketplace NFTs will make deployments easier, which will make the adoption faster and scale.

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

What do you think about the future of digital collections and NFT and how does the project then plan to be at the forefront of this innovation?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Our Marketplace applications are planned to be backed by NFTs, and these are going to be fundamental to incentavise orginal application authors... πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

DeFi project is very popular and there are many DeFi projects right now, what are your plans for now? what makes $ STACK unique?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Defi is a market cycle, cloud has been running for ages.... StackOS is evloved cloud... I rest my case πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

βœ…Few hours ago, stack os announced that will have a IDO on the Paid ignition Launchpad, so can you give us more details about how participate? Whitelist is open?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Yes we are a dual launchpad project!! Iginition will be a beter source for this information

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

As Personal Data is very Impotant, How will You provide total security??

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

We dont collect personal data, unlike AWS, GCP and Azure πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Can you explain how to distribute your Tokenomics? How many tokens will be minted? And how many tokens will be locked by the group?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

This information is going to be released soon...

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

What is your strongest advantage that you think will make your team leading the market? In contrast, what is your weakness? How do you plan to overcome it?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

we are inherently protected with the Beacon Nodes, and we dont compete with AWS, GCP or Azure πŸ™‚ we use them to become more decentralized.... and ofcourse we are a protcol, not a product that needs to defend. In the future we see all these cloud providers to support our opensource solution to make deployments easier and censirship resistent.
We value our partners and their partnership, we were originally going to build our own decentralized DNS oracle service, and then decided to use Chainlink instead (contibute to them) and open their ecosystem to the larger audiance while also solving our use case.

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Stack os is an open source that was designed to be deployed on Decentralized clouds, but apart of it, , the stack os can the deployed in other ways ?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

yes it is being designed to deploy on Datacentres and local hardwares.
We are doing AMAs here πŸ™‚ just as an example.... I invite you to join us and see our demonstration video, and I assure you in no time you will be running wordpress apps on StackOS and refering us to other developers. But unlike the central cloud providers the value generated in the StackOS ecosystem goes to the community instead of the shareholders of the community !!

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

🐳 About the Decentralized cloud Feature. How does it work? How can we contributing compute resources to earn with Stackos?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Yes we are going to encourage node providers by incentivizing them to run nodes ....

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Q1. In one of your recent publish medium ama_articles, i saw that Andrey Shirben, which is one of your seed investor is joining you as an advisor. What makes you think Andrey is the best man for the job?

Q2. Are you optimistic that he will use his vast experience to help StackOS in disrupting the traditional cloud provider’s space with StackOS’s decentralized cloud protocol?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

The only reason we have him onboard is becuase he is going to add value, and likewise, the only reason he decided to join us is beucase he knows he can add value... its a two way relationship πŸ™‚ i encourage you to see his profile, and that will tell you why he is the best one to be on our advisory board.

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

πŸ€Applications in StackOS seems really great, Does we need to pay to user your services? is there any requerement to develop apps at StackOs?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Thank you! it appers that you have either deployed application on StackOS or have seen the demonstration video πŸ™‚

Developers can pay for the resources by staking and commiting any crypto currency, but the transactions within the network happen with $STACK tokens...

There are no special requirements, any application in the world can be packaged into a docker imnage and run on StackOS... thats what makes StackOS so powerful... its not just a solution for blockchain companies but its StackOS will see adoption from the whole wide world πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

🍎As I know StackOS allow users deploy any full-stack application. What kind of lenguaje does developers need to work on StackOS? What kind of tools and features do you provide to these developers?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Any programming language in the work is supported by StackOS!!! πŸ™‚ its language agnostic!

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Yield Farming and Liqiudity Mining, what do you think? What about StackOS Liquidity Mining Program sir?
What can we expect from this project in the short term at some point in 2021, and in the long term of course?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Yes we plan to have this in the next few months πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

We all know that there are many problems with the Ethereum network: scalability issues, high gas costs, slow speeds, etc. So, why did you choose to build a token on the ERC-20 blockchain ecosystem? Why not build it on some scalable blockchain?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

We are cross chain protocol, not tied to Ethereum... πŸ™‚ we have ERC20 tokens and BEP20 tokens too... it is going to expand to more...

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Do you feel satisfied with success you have made till now, when you look back to day when you have started this project?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Absolutely !!! πŸ™‚ its a pleasure I cant express in words... its happiniess even coming here and sharing it with you folks !

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

On Twitter StackOS talks about DDos attacks, can you explain what a DDoS attack is? and the StackOS application is protected by Beacon Nodes, can you explain about this protection system?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

DDos is distributed denial of service attacks... which means that people can bring the service down by making garbage requests.....

Beacon nodes are a layer that is designed to handle those issues without affecting the infra mesh (where actual applications run)
We will not be releasing any contract or our token without it being audited.... we are partnered with a very reputed audit firm πŸ™‚ please wait for the announcement to happen !

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Could you tell us some of the problems you see with the centralized cloud infrastructure that made you build your own decentralized infrastructure?

What other benefits does StackOS offers blockchain developers asides anonymity, What about speed, cost effectiveness, security and the rest, Can you guarantee that as well?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

There is a wonderful medium post that we have made around the problems StackOS solves when compared with the centralized cloud providers. If you ping me afterwards, I can point you to it....

Its exactly the same speed, and the developers can choose their flexibility between performance and cost πŸ™‚ which no one currently does

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

In the world cryptocurrency competition, features are of the utmost importance to attract investors and the community! Can you provide a list of killer features that scare your competitors over your project?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

1) Unmatched security with Beacon Nodes
2) focusing on making it a protocol instead of a solution that people will compete with
3) disaster recovery
4) horizontal and vertical scaling infrastructure
5) anonymity
6) NFTs for marketplace adoption
7) there is more but ----- > πŸ”₯πŸ”₯User experienceπŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

It's stated on your website that Individuals and enterprises can earn by contributing compute resources to the StackOS' decentralized cloud.

Could you please explain the details about this contribution? Minimum to be contributed and what to be gained?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

With a click of a button on StackOS, you will be able to consume resources of the AWS, GCP etc and directly contribute to the StackOS ecosystem.

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

I saw many people said that NFTs are the next β€˜Trend’. I also saw some use-cases of NFTs in crypto space. How do you think about the evolution of NFTs in crypto space and the real world?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

I have talked about this in another question..... but yes it is a very powerful tool..... in our ecosystem you will be able to use NFTs to build applications on the marketplace... where resellers can be incentivized while the orginial author will also be able to benefit
We plan to be the Chainlink of Cloud Computing..... and we are working to build the StackMarines πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

For a project development first of all main priority is having enough fund. Does your team financially capable to run this project? Do you have enough fund for it's developement Can you tell us that how your project generate the profit?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

Great question: Yes we do, and as I have said before we are close to mainnet launch, and have proved all of our critical protocol functionalities..... so we are already good! most of our resources is going to focus on go to market strategy

We earn from a small transaction fee, when a transaction is made on the network... and cloud computing has a lot of transactions πŸ™‚ this money will go to the dev account which in the future is planned to be managed by a DAO to promote development on StackOS. Hope this helps πŸ™‚

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Q.1-Increasing Token price
2- make Token Valuable
3-Building Community Trust
From 3 aspects above,. I want to ask,. Which one the most important for you??
If all above are important for you,. Which one that Will you do first??

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

They all go in tandom ... πŸ™‚ one without the other is a recepie for disaster!
good question, and there is a medium post which addresses just that πŸ™‚
in the spirit of time I encourage you to take a look at that

Cryptodiffer CommunityCryptodiffer Community

Most DeFi projects especially those ones offering yield farming are driven up by hype and scarcity, so when the hype dies the project dies. What's the key to sustaining Your Project yield farming ?

Vishnu KordeVishnu Korde

This is planned to be managed by a DAO πŸ™‚ so if the community needs to incentivize node creations they will be able to propose it....
---> I hope I have answered all the questions and some of them combined πŸ™‚ I apologize if I missed some questions but I tried my best πŸ™
Please feel free to join us on our channel @stackos and continue the conversation, I really enjoyed this!!!! πŸ˜„ πŸ”₯
πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ I think I typed for 2 hours πŸ˜„ πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯
