Sure I am Ray Laracuenta the CEO and CoFounder of Catalyze Software. https://catalyze.one We are a blockchain focused software development company and our firts product is Catalyze a web3 alternative to Discord We are also a Dfinity Foundation grant winner and veteran team on the IC The team is international and about 12 people in size at the moment We also support other chains in our development and we will make Catalyze available on both the Internet computer and other blockchains Prior to Catalyze I ran a research division at Gartner Inc and was also a tech analyst. Our team is made up of PhDs and community experts along with great designers and engineers Hopefully this helps but I can add more information if you would like. 🙂

Q2: Can you introduce Catalyze to us?
Sure Catalyze as I mentioned is a community building platform similar to Discord and others but built on web3 technology So the experience will feel familiar but the capabilities will be more advanced At its base Catalzye comes with chat, group chat, voice and video calls like a Discord or Slack But we added in an Events Mgt Engine and a Task Mgt Tool to reflect the kind or work web3 communities engage in We also have built in proactive bot detection code into the app to prevent spamming and bot activity As mentioned Catalyze is built on the Internet Computer and supports their Internet ID login along with traditional logins - google id, apple id, discord ,etc We will also be offering Metamask login later this month The idea behind Catalyze is to build thriving communities so we have also devised a tokenomics system to incentivize participation So users earn tokens for liking posts, attending AMAs, becoming Mods, going to online and IRL conferences, doing tasks, etc We have a Youtube channel with explainer videos we can share about the details of the app and the tokenomics https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6RESS2FU2F04kt7dR7DfVQ In this channel (after the AMA) you can check out the app and the ides behind it We will also be support the liquidity of other chains in app So swapping from say Eth, Matic, Sol, ADA to ICP is possible We want Catalyze to be a mass adoption platform so this is a key focus area for us Also to show our appreciation to this community we are opening up the closed beta to everyone here. I will share the URL for the closed beta at the end of the AMA! The best way to learn about it is to play with it! Oh and Catalyze is backwards compatible with Discord, Telegram, Slack and WhatsApp! So we can connect channels and chatrooms from those platforms to Catalyze for 2 way real time chat Making migrations to Catalyze easy and organic. No more asking 1000s of users to get new IDs, installing some new wallet and logging into another app So web2 based communities can move to web3 at their own speed and not lose their members

Q3: Let`s now talk about the milestones you have achieved so far and about your upcoming plans?
Sure So we launched principle development of Catalyze in late January and have successfully delivered on chat, tasks, events, multi method login and a new UI as of August The closed beta launched in early August and we have let in 1200 testers to date. The past 4 weeks of testing has focused on big squashing and UX/UI updates based on feedback. The next set of milestones are focused on activating voice/video channels, adding our wallet, and working on UI to connect Catalyze to Entrepot (Toniq Labs) NFT marketplace The latter will allow Catalyze communities to mint NFTs in-app and if they desire post them for sale on Entrepot In turn Entrepot creators can auto spawn new communities on Catalyze when they setup their collections on Entrepot This will be the focus of the milestones due in Q4 In addition we are taking to 2-3 different blockchain companies about doing a Catalyze port to their chain Once we have those agreements finalized we will announce who will be up first The Entrepot model will be extended to other NFT marketplaces inside and outside of the IC ecosystem We want Catalyze to be like your favorite mall which has the key stores you want to shop at. So partnerships across ecosystems are key After that we will be launched our tokenomics engine and expanding our events engine to support full online conferences etc So even the smallest community can build, invite and launch a conference in-app Use NFT ticketing etc Once the platform hits critical mass user wise we will be launching a Community Manager Dashboard This dashboard will anonmously mine wallet activity around the Catalyze tokens to see how engaged communities are And give the Admin analystics they cannot get anywhere else And the use those analytics to build better experiences for their members

Ok I need a min to read all the great questions I see that there is "WHITELIST MANAGEMENT FEATURE AS WELL, Can You Please Tell about this Feature? How will it work? A: We are working with ModClub and their Proof of Humanity tech to create validated user lists for any kind of drops built from whitelists So we will build the work flow of drop prep, contest planning and the like and Modclub will handle the ID work So we can stream line and simplify the whitelist process in app and then help ensure that the people who receive the assets are legimate. We are big on disecting how people who work today and creating holistic models to help them to things with fewer tools and steps 🔥🔥🔥🔥 @Rlaracue CATALYZE is great project, but i want to know how our DATA PRIVACY is protected Does USERS have ownership over their DATA? First off users own their data. We will not sell their data and any econimic value that community data has will be earned by that community via the tokenomics Being on chain allows for immutibility, freedom from harsh censorship, and the like Chat is E2EE And with the support of multiple wallets for login people's privacy can be maintained we also are building an ZKP (zero knowledge proof) storage system to store personal user data from chat conversations so its even more secure This will also store assets like images, files etc In fact our ZKP base storage system may also be spun off as a competitor to Arweave and IPFS we are working with a few chain companies on a stand alone version that would support both Eth and L1 chains Catalyze is a platform similar to discord, most projects lacks in management, how does Catalyze stand out from other competitors in terms of management? And the level of transparency adopted? I like question but I am not sure if it means Discord mgt at the the company level or Discord's tooling re: community mgt But I think it is more about CM Well the data tooling and dashboard I think addresses some of the mgt issues right We can only manage to what we know. And most tools like Discord do tell you a bunch The how and why of communities and their behaviors are hard to ascertain With our analytics you will know how and why people are doing things and then be more educated on what to do next So in terms of engagement mgt the data will make mgt a little easier. From an operational perspective we will offer Moderation Bots to allow teams to scale. Mods are stressed out and over worked in most cases and they need help! They dont sleep and they feel then need to do everything themselves with little automation offered We want to change that Even reducing the number of bots/scammers will help with mgt One less thing to deal with so you can focus on community growth not chasing after bad actors 70% of the time Lastly Modclub offers professional moderators who we will intergrate into Catalyze so for ongoing support or special events you can bring them in to carry especially heavy loads How is the Catalyze platform secured? How do you ensure your security against cyber attacks? Is the Catalyze platform safe for now? We are lucky in that one of our lead engineers has a PhD in Computer Engineering and is also a blockchain code auditor He has been building Catalyze and auditing our code throughout So he writes reports to us as if we were a client with remediation suggestions etc along the way He is also the creator of the both detection tech and the ZKP storage tooling Having a security focused engineer on the team saves time and risk. When we are ready to launch the production version we will have a 3rd party audit on the code But we hope our internal audits and adjustments will make easier There are some Platforms which can't handle much Audience & Crowd at one Place, How will Catalyze Plan to Handle all the rush? This is one of the reasons v1 of Catalyze runs on the IC. Very fast and infinitely scalable It also is a newer chain where loads are not excessive. So it is a good place to grow with the chain. We also have create two versions of our back end with the most recent being designed to handle burst loads and to scale It is also why we are going multi chain bc we can spread the load across several chain backbones Chains like DOT, Cosmos also help us with interchain comms ✅ What are the different ways the Catalyze platform offers to earn $UCAR tokens? Are these rewards given by the owners or provided directly by the platform? So on the Catalyze tokens there are two types. uCAT and CAT. uCat is what you and I would earn every day as we engage with our communities. CAT is the governance token and currency of the platform uCAT can be exchange for CAT with a exchange rate which will be set at token launch uCAT can be earned as mentioned above - like posts, moderation work, attending events, ask questions, onboarding users and communites (think ambassor programs), taking on tasks (task bounties), etc Each person will also get staked tokens based on active time on the platform So all the stuff you do on TG or Discord will have value Some actions will have higher value than others meaning liking posts all day wont be as effective as attending AMAs or events or doing takes tasks This way community managers can be assured their folks are focusing on high value interactions Q1. Catalyze plan to reward users through an 'engage-to-earn' tokenization model.  Can you throw more light on this? Q2. DAOs are the foundation of Web 3.0 and are the future of online communities. What are Catalyze plans to develop a DAO? What rights and privileges will members exercise? I think I hit on Q1 and we also have a Youtube video on Engage to Earn for more info Q2 is where I will focuse here We think of communities as living things that mature in time with care Not all groups of people need to or should be DAOs But when your community is ready to become a DAO we thing there are leading indicators Our plan with Catalzye is to help you find and track those leading indicators and then when the time is right allow you to evolve your community to a DAO in-app This way the DAO doesnt flop after a few months like so many do today Strong communities will make for better and more sustainable DAOs We in turn will provide the tooling, goverance tools and token launch tech needed to make it happen And if people want to use a third party DAO maker we will do our best to integrate with those platforms so you dont lose the human side of the community as u become a DAO Shall I keep going? Few more?

I am happy to I just cannot seem to scroll far back anymore to see other questions Have You  Introduced the CATALYZE DAO , So May I ask what Is the Requirements to Participate in the DAO , Which TOKEN I Should STAKE and HOLD.  ? So to clarify we have done a Seed token round (back In January) and we are in the middle of doing our Private Sale round (closes at month end) After that we have a pre sale and then the LGE So if people wanted to invest that is how you can do it now and in the near future. The LGE will be in 2023 and timing will be based on market conditions We are hoping for a CEX listing but DEX/IDO also are great If you are more investment oriented you can check out our litepaper and indication of interest forms on our website https://catalyze.one/litepaper/ We want to be as decentralized as we can with investments so feel free to check it out Hello @Rlaracue 😊 Can Any Users from any Field Use Catalyze ? Can Anyone hold Video Conferencing or Events on Your Platform? The first answer is yes. All are welcome as they say. Just be kind, respectful and know some communities have younger eyes watching what we say and do. While we are focused a bit on Web3 communities that does not mean you need to have to be We have soccer fans testing the app as we speak. Yes on video as well We can support up to 100 people on a video call Discussions are ongoing in terms of going with that limit or starting smaller during the test phase n phase 2 you have to talk about the "BETA VERSION LAUNCHED" SO, is this test Ted  yet ? And in nfts minting and airdropping also so, tell us MORE BERIF about this ? NFT minting and dropping tech will be released to the beta later in Q4. So we cannot share it atm Once its live we will announce it Sumit 🚀, [Sep 13, 2022 at 11:27:45 AM]: As you Main Competitor is Discord, so what Unique Feature are you going to Provide to the Community that they are not able to Find in Discord? And why do you Think that your Platform will be Better than Discord in Future? Joshua, [Sep 13, 2022 at 11:27:45 AM]: Hello 👋👋👋👋 @Rlaracue ... This is a common one and a great question So we are researchers both in process design and UX And while Discord is a great general purpose platform it is a complilation of ideas and UX/UI elements that have accrued over time More simply put Discord started out as a voice channel competitor to Teamspeak and now with layer UI elements and feature creep it has become a bit tough to navigate for the newbies and even veterans Plus it was not designed specifically for web3 use cases etc We compete on the UX side by having a cleaner and more user friendly design. We dont try to jam pack every bit and bon into the UI Look at an active community on Discord with every option turned on For many its overwhelming The app takes center stage not the community With Catalyze the community first and the UI show fade away and not force itself to be the focus You do that buy saying no to feature and UI bloat On the functional side we integrate tools, provide token incentives and analytics from wallet mining so users and admins know what is going on and what people value Without both big Discord communities can actually make you feel pretty isolated and or lost Hope that helps a little Ok one more Not many Social Platforms are there where Interaction is Fun, To make it interesting, What Different Features will be Added on Catalyze? This is actually very near and dear to me. Where is the fun? Like we are all so serious about web3 taking over and making money which is great But we all need fund On a veener level we are addition robots everyone to the UI We have some on our website but more are coming to the UI in catalyze A deeper level were are going to have community leader boards and sharing gamefied activities not only inside of communities but across communities We also are looking at the whole metaverse thing to see if we can do some fun social stuff on the platform where people can virtualy meet But only if we can do it elegantly and with great value Our chat engine design allows for cross community communications and activities So image cross chain hackathons in app 20 sustanability groups working on campaigns together World Cup watch parties across 100s of communities It doesnt have to be all about working and trading crypto We need communities to socialize together Make friends And make the world smaller for everyone I feel the tech has some how made us more connected and sometimes ironically more lonely We want to fix that so you feel connected to your community and the people in it Lofty goal but worthwhile As promised here is the special URL for the closed beta for all of you. https://chat.catalyze.one Again its a closed beta so expect code pushes etc We have a group called the Alpha team you can join if you want to provide direct feedback to the developers! You can also join our Telegram if you want for updates and clearly our website as well https://t.me/Catalyzeone Please play with the app. Create a community. Have fun We built it for you Back to you And if I didnt answer your question feel free to repost it in our TG I will try my best to get to them all! Thank you
