Q1: Can you introduce yourself to our community?

Miles Anthony

Hi everyone, I’m founder and project lead of Decentral Games. I started the project back in 2019 with the objective of building engaging, multiplayer, wager-based games in the Metaverse. 2 years later, we proudly support poker, blackjack, roulette, slots, and backgammon playable with crypto in Decentraland.

Decentral Games is a metaverse-native gaming DAO building play-to-earn poker, blackjack, roulette, and slots. DG hodlers vote on treasury management, economic policy, and development to grow and strengthen the Decentral Games ecosystem.

So far, we’ve built poker, blackjack, roulette, slots, and backgammon in the metaverse. We currently support MANA, DAI, USDT, and ETH bets for roulette and blackjack, and plan to roll out MANA and DAI bets for poker by the end of the month. However, the thing we are most excited about at DG is integrating a play-to-earn architecture to our free to play gameplay that incorporates a new line of DG NFTs. We are looking forward to releasing more details and our lineup of amazing launch partners shortly!

What is the tokennomics and basic utility of the DG token in Decentral Games? and What growth drivers for the DG token do you see in the future?

Miles Anthony

The DG token is used to govern the treasury, which generates revenue from the house edge in the games and the polygon node rewards (DG runs the 6th largest Polygon node by MATIC Staked). The treasury also holds over 1k parcels of Decentraland LAND and other wearables NFTs to amount to over 10M USD of value. You can track the performance here: https://decentral.games/dg . In the future, DAO votes would be able to distribute value to DG stakers in the governance contract in addition to the DG gov rewards stakers currently get.

I am really excited by your Play-to-Earn and it has got to be the most inventive thing I have seen yet on Decentraland . What are the currencies that can be used for playing on @DecentralGames casinos ?

Miles Anthony

Yes we are very excited for play-to-earn! We were very inspired by this model and think it will really help DG to have a poker p2e product. Very excited to release more details soon. Right now we support MANA, DAI, USDT, and ETH.

In relation to governance on Decentral.games, when a proposal is submitted, can all holders of the $DG token vote on the proposal or is voting reserved for only holders that staked some of their $DG tokens in the governance contract? Also, for how long will the voting period last before a governance decision will finally be made?

Only stakers can vote and gov decisions are made in 4 days.

Do both winners and losers recieve same amount of $DG ?

Yes! You earn DG tokens based on how much you wager, regardless of if you win or lose.

DG announced the release of three new gaming metaverse locations in partnership with Bored Ape Yacht Club, DEXTools, and Vegas City.
I read in an ama_article that Decentral's new "NPM bundle product" played a big role in building these venues and partnerships. Could you tell us about the NPM package product and its uniqueness?

Miles Anthony

Yes, it was essential to build the DG npm package for internal use to easily keep all DG venues up-to-date following specific game optimizations and additions. However, it has gradually become a compelling and lucrative B2B product, as it enables any metaverse developer to deploy DG white label poker, blackjack, roulette, and slots into their scene in return for a revenue share with the DAO.

Metaverse poker lounges and casinos have become one of the most engaging ways to gather online crypto and NFT communities. Due to the highly scalable nature of our npm package product, we are excited to support many more aligned partners for custom metaverse poker lounges and casinos in the future.

We will have a scholarship program very soon :) where the minimum capital to start will be 0

I know that DecentralGames is creating virtual casinos in @Decentraland and @BoredApeYC NFT legends created their ape casino through $DG in the VR metaverse world. Can you please tell us about the relationship between Decentral games and BoredApeYC

Miles Anthony

We allowed them to use our npm package which deployed our metaverse games in their custom riverboat venue. The BAYC casino is on DG DAO LAND as well. Here are some pics:

In the crypto field it's very hard for Projects to Generate Revenue/Profits, Some projects have 10% Dev share(10% from transaction fees taken by the project). Can you explain to us in What way that Decentral Games creates revenue/profits?

DG generates revenue from the games and the polygon node. The games have generated around 3M USD so far and the Polygon Node has generated around 400k USD so far for the DAO treasury. You can track everything here: https://decentral.games/dg

🔵 You announced that Decentral Games has formed a partnership with Connext. What is the advantage of this partnership for both parties and what features does Matic bring to deposits?

🔵 What incentives will you provide when we invite more players to Decentral Games? Do you have a new referral program and what percentage will DG evangelists get on bets placed?

Connext bring speed to matic deposits in order to onboard our players to crypto because the Matic bridge typically takes 6 minutes.

Decentral Games Raised $5 M for the Development, How will it help to Develop Some Products & additional Features in Nascent Metaverse?

We will be rolling out a play-to-earn poker product very soon with free play gameplay where it will require 0 upfront capital to start earning due to our built-in scholarship program. It is pretty clear to us that play-to-earn will be massive, and we are very excited to be able to get to market quickly.
Our greatest achievement was building poker, and now we are very excited to apply the game to a new play-to-earn model where the gameplay is EV positive. Really looking forward to releasing more information around this and our big launch partners shortly.

What types of NFT are available in Decentral Games? and Also will you provide a market to sell or buy DG NFT?

We have all types of cosmetic wearable NFTs, and we have an NFT marketplace on the roadmap for Q4, as they will play an increasingly large role in our ecosystem.
the DG treasury will also have another source of revenue - NFT marketplace fees

I read that they recently organized a Casino night in Paraguay. This is very impressive. My question is, what plans does the DecentralGames team have for Latin American countries? What types of events will we see in the future in these countries and how will you get your project to expand in the Spanish speaking countries?
