I am a physician-entrepreneur with extensive experience developing clinical applications in genetics for disease prevention, cancer, and infectious disease. I am broadly interested in the interface of computing and medicine. I am a Co-Founder at Color Genomics.Prior to Color, I was a resident in clinical pathology at UCSF, where I worked on three research projects in breast cancer, leukemia, and pathogen detection. During this time, I also started a computational genetics group (with David Patterson) at the UC Berkeley RISE Lab (formerly AMP Lab).I attended UMass Medical School and worked at MIT and then UCSD under a Howard Hughes Medical Training Fellowship. Prior to that, I completed a biochemistry BSc at McGill University (Montreal).Board certified Pathologist (American Board of Pathology).
