Q1: Can you introduce yourself to our community?

My name is Vijay. I was the Co-founder & CTO of an edu-tech firm called KNOLSKAPE with multi-million dollar revenue. I have 14+ years of experience building products in learning and edu-tech serving millions of users. My background is in Mathematics and Computer Science.

I am Sreekanth and co-founder of SolRazr. I was the VP of Engineering at an AdTech startup and had a successful exit to Walmart Labs. I have been building highly scalable products for 15+ years. Q2: Can you introduce SolRazr to us?

SolRazr's mission is to help projects building on Solana Raise Capital and Build fast. Our project started with a simple idea - provide opportunity for millions of retail investors to be part of the early phase of the disruptive projects.
To expand on it, we do these three things.
1. Providing retail investors access to investing in projects through fair and decentralized allocations
2. For the projects & developers, SolRazr provides the ability to raise capital at lightning speeds in a truly decentralized manner
3. Developer Tools: SolRazr also provides access to a host of developer tools to help them build fast on Solana and go to market early

Sure.
We have a very strong roadmap and some exciting features in the pipeline. We are launching our IDO platform on October 4th.
We have been working on some interesting items under the developer tools platform, please follow our updates over the next few weeks. We have a lot to showcase to the community.

First of all, compared to all launchpads out there, SolRazr will be one of the fastest and inexpensive to use because it is powered by Solana. Additionally, we are also innovating on the allocation models using NFTs which no one launchpad is doing today.

Using NFTs, we allow fair and truly decentralized allocations but more importantly, NFTs can be tradable so your allocation can be gifted or transferred to anyone. Additionally, with NFTs, we are creating a secondary market for allocations.

❄️❄️❄️What is the new feature Solrazr will provide in Solana blockchain?
Also what is the most potential in Solana blockchain that Solrazr want to bring up?

Good question.

Solana is the fastest blockchain and is also the fastest-growing network. Solana can support up to 75k tps at negligible transaction costs and block time is sub-second. Building a launchpad powered by Solana will help projects raise capital at lightning speed and help the community contribute to projects without expensive transaction fees. We also noticed that a lot of developers building DeFi and NFTs have started moving to Solana bringing massive network effects.

We believe Solana will become the closest competitor to Ethereum in the next few years and we will be one of the early builders in this space.

Raydium and Solanium seem to have some market share from a Launchpad point of view. I hope Solrazr is not a late comer in the market ? How do you intend to capture the market to have a large market share and ensure a great number of users are interested in your project ?

Sreekanth Kalapur

Very interesting and appropriate question. Raydium and Solanium definitely have a head start. But before Solanium came, Raydium already did 1 or 2 IDOs. And yet Solanium managed to grab some market share. The way we see, Solana ecosystem is growing at a rapid pace and there are hundreds of projects being built. We have a massive opportunity to claim a big market share. And with our innovation around allocation model, use of NFTs, top-tier backers and partners, we are going to win a massive massive market share.

Many projects are simply projects that make fraudulent promises by cloning existing projects, and are similar to existing projects. Do SolRazr have your own unique features that you developed that set you apart?

I have seen some DeFi projects have been "hacked" recently, as it describes. How do you think the recent incidents of other DeFi products affect user trust? What can your project do to ensure that crypto enthusiasts believe that #SolRazr is safe and reliable?

Sreekanth Kalapur

Security audits are extremely important for every project, specially DeFi protocols that deal with user funds. Crypto is still very early and we see a lot of innovation happening at a rapid pace. And its very exciting. Naturally many players want to build things fast and not put much importance on security aspects. My recommendation is for users to engage with products that are audited and secure. SolRazr's IDO platform has been audited by Kudelski, the best security firm out there.

📍Is there PC endpoint restriction to start NFT in Solana? Is it possible for Solana cluster to slow down? Why are validators running nodes needed? Can you make RPC endpoints the de facto platform for application?

Vijay Kalangi

NFT projects using Solana's public RPC endoints have faced issues in the past. The RPC servers were overwhelmed with the huge load.

We have a set of custom RPC endpoints that exclusively serve only SolRazr’s requests. This makes sure SolRazr is available even when Solana mainnet RPC endpoints are overwhelmed.

What is the motive of Accelerator Program?

Most launchpads are interested only in doing IDOs for projects. Crypto is gaining a lot of mainstream adoption and lot of developer talent is flocking to this space. But most of the developers have no clue how to bootstrap, build, grow and launch despite being good coders. We want to work with projects and developers at an early stage, provide with all the help they need - capital, tech support, ecosystem connections, go-to-market strategy etc. This is the motive for Accelerator program.

So far, these are the things you can do by holding SOLR ... we have disclosed these things publicly.

1. Allocations to private and curated pools is exclusive to SOLR token holders
2. SOLR tokens can be staked for longer periods to earn rare allocations
3. Voting rights and project governance when DAO is formed
4. Access to various developer tools

Wait for future announcements on information about more exciting things you can do by holding SOLR.

Interesting point. Most commonly seen on Solana too lately where a lot of projects clone others. Every feature we built, was built from scratch. Our codebase is public. We are bad at copying or cloning things, so we took our time and building everything from scratch. It does not mean we don't adopt some standard libraries or services available, but will do so only when they make sense.

SolRazr is the first decentralised developer ecosystem for Solana. What existing problem are you looking forward to solving? Is your platform meant for experienced developers with sharpened skills or it's quite user friendly as well?

Sreekanth Kalapur

It's quite user friendly. We are building the platform for our consumers. However, the projects we want to incubate, support and launch on our platform will be carefully selected and vetted. We are looking for developers who are solving both common as well as unique problems, not necessarily complex problems. Recently, in the India hackathon, we saw many developers build a simple wedding registry on-chain and someone built a simple piggybank. And there were other projects who are solving the liquidity problems for NFTs, which is a bit more complex. All these are useful ideas and have the potential to grow and become big when users adopt their dapps.
