Hey! My name is Aaron and I am one of the Co-founders of IX Swap.

My background has primarily been in traditional finance and banking. I have spent most of my career in Singapore doing investment advisory across multiple large private banks. During my time in the banking industry, I was extremely fascinated by the crypto industry and started trading and arbitraging crypto markets back in 2017. I will be leading IX Swap in terms of business strategy and operations going forward.

Greetings! I am Darren Wong and I am the Head of Asset listings and strategic partnerships here at IX Swap.

Given my past experience in finance and real estate, along with co-founding 2 start-ups in tech and in blockchain, the road that led me here was inevitable. My background in finance provided exposure to a vast selection of products from within investment banking and private banking working with both large corporates and high network individuals. This allowed me to understand both the efficiencies and inefficiencies in the financial system.
During my first start-up stint in VR for real estate, I discovered the use of blockchain that fully fascinated me, which led me to my 2nd start up. Setting up my Blockchain Consultancy and accelerator since the later part of 2017, allowed me to see and unlocking the potential of blockchain in various industries, which natural let me back to want to solve the inefficiencies in traditional finance and to be able set precedence to create a whole segment for the future finance.
With the STO market heating up more in the past year than before, we are excited to be guiding the space to new heights!

Q2: Can you introduce IX SWAP to us?

IX Swap is creating the first liquidity pools and AMM solutions for the STO/TSO ecosystem. STO/TSO investors will be able to contribute to the ecosystem and STO/TSO issuers themselves will be able to create their own liquidity pools. This in itself will create a paradigm shift for the industry providing this groundbreaking liquidity solution for the STO/TSO ecosystem.

Q3: Let`s now talk about the milestones you have achieved so far and about your upcoming plans?

Since our IDO/IEO that we launched on Kucoin, Occam and Poolz in September, we have currently completed integrations with our first licensed broker-dealer InvestaX and our licensed custodian 1st Digital and the next phase will be to enable our swap mechanisms for STO trading which will be launched in 1Q2022.
There are a couple of other key milestones that IXS has completed since our launch in September; we had successfully launched both staking and liquidity mining programs on both the Ethereum and Polygon networks.

More details and roadmap for 2022 will be provided by the end of next week detailing specific product launches and new additions to the IXS product line.

What mechanism have you put in place to help create a deflationary effect on the WIXS tokens to help ensure value is created for it holders?

Also, is the tokenomics carefully designed to help ensure that tokens are released gradually over time to avoid inflating token supply too quickly? How long will investors and team token be vested?
Just before we get into that, the IXS token is a utility token NOT a security token. It will be freely available to trade on any cryptocurrency exchange or DEX.

So here are the features of the IXS tokens -
IXS token holders will be able to stake their tokens on IX Swap to receive an interest rate as income. Platform earnings in the future will also be distributed to IXS token holders

IXS token holders will also be able to stake their tokens for governance related to the activity of IX Swap - this will allow token holders to take part in the active growth and decision making of IX Swap

IXS token holders will also receive priority access to new STO issuances on the InvestaX primary STO issuance platform.

Q1. I understand that IX Swap focuses on security tokens, however, considering the increasing Regulatory scrutiny of security tokens, how do you intend to be regulatory compliant? Is there any system in place to ensure that?

Q2. Will the $IXS token serve as a security token or a utility token? I just hope this whole regulatory issue won't hinder the growth of the project in future?

1. Well the key difference between us and other platforms in the market dealing with cryptocurrency is that are connected to licensed intemediaries to create a regulatory compliant infrastructure for the security tokens to safely traded.

2. IXS is purely a utility token and does not have security features. The enheightened regulatory scrutiny is actually a positive for us as we are building this platform to be regulatory compliant

Just before we get into that, the IXS token is a utility token NOT a security token. It will be freely available to trade on any cryptocurrency exchange or DEX.

So here are the features of the IXS tokens -

As you can see from our tokenomics, we have ensured that tokens are released gradually over time to avoid inflating token supply too quickly. Furthermore, the team/strategic partnerships are all vested over a 3 year period which is longer than most projects. We want to ensure that the team is aligned with payouts with the long development roadmap for IX Swap.
The IXS tokens also have a distinct deflationary economics function to ensure value is created for our token holders the more the platform is used.
5% of Fees will be sent to a permanently locked vault reducing the overall token supply.
5% of Fees will also be sent to a vault to purchase IXS tokens.
Rewards earned on the platform will be distributed over time to ensure token inflation is reduced.

These factors will create a deflationary effect on tokens the more the platform is used.

I believe by now, you already know that security tokens are subjected to greater scrutiny by regulatory bodies unlike Utilities. These being one of the reasons for the slow doption of security tokens. Seeing the degree of regulations that STOs are subjected to, why are you focusing on STOs instead of utility tokens ?

Is this because you see Regulatory scrutiny taking over all assets in future

I feel most of the assets that are around us will be classfied as securities in the long run. There has been lots of ambiguity around the classification of assets and whether they are securities. Whether or not they are classified as securities in the future is yet to be seen. but if they list with IXS there will be an additional layer of comfort that these assets will be compliant and will not delisted by regulatory authorities

NFT technology really has a bright future and has become a useful tool for any project. So, what is the IXSwap team's approach to NFT? Will you also offer a unique experience for NFT trading in the future?

NFTs are a great technology that has exploded in adoption this year. Interestingly enough, NFTs, depending on the underlying asset it represents, could also be classified as STOs. I believe Ixswap is a huge project. I see the project is scalable and you'd be able to extend your tentacles into other sectors. Which other sectors can you Deploy your solution?

Your recent partnership with Likvidisec to bring "GREEN FINANCE FOR DEFI" will be a game changer. Can you tell us more about GREEN FINANCE FOR DEFI and the advantage it brings onboard?

1. IX Swap will start to unlock illiquid markets such as private equity, which will give immediate value having the ability to provide not just liquidity , but to allow facilitation of these assets as never before. Other sectors that IX Swap might be able move iton following that may include tokenized public stocks, physical value assets and perhaps NFTs. Our aim is to tokenize the world!

2. Our partnership with Likvidi, will allow us to enter Green finance with the infrastructure they have built. This does not only give the rights of the underlying ownership but also the tokens produced from green finance will allow traceability and trackability of whole process flow of attaining the end product. This will allow for both ownership and authentication in the process flow all in an STO

What is the motive and Idea the creation of IX Swap?

Seeing the novelty in what you are trying to achieve at IX swap, how long did it take for the development phase of the STO ecosystem infrastructure to build an end-to-end security token issuance company

Over the last few years many companies (us included) have been working hard and tirelessly at building out the STO infrastructure. Security token issuance companies, exchanges and custodians have been licensed, established and are paving the way for the rebirth of the STO ecosystem.

However, despite this rapid development, a key problem, trading liquidity, still persists. This has been a well-known issue and the industry has been kicking the can down the road, waiting and hoping that traditional market makers would enter the space.

Today, there is still a lack of market-makers in the space to do this. We have built IX Swap to solve a key infrastructure problem in the STO ecosystem. IX Swap was birthed not to create some other run of the mill DeFi project but as a NEED for the STO industry for it to progress and expand beyond its current limitations.

Why did you choose to only base your platform on security tokens alone and not ICOs?

How can I register my business to become a member of IX swap so that the general public can utilize my security tokens also?

The market does not need additional ICO platforms, we created IXS because of a need for infrastructure in the STO ecosystem.

Why did you integrate with the broker-dealer exchange partner HKVAX? How will IX Swap benefit from this partnership with additional exposure and access to different users in Hong Kong and the region?

It caught my attention that each Swap that develops its own automated market maker (AMM), but really how many swaps can be made between the different AMMs of different projects, or are all market makers in a network really the same?

Darren Wong

To create a liquidity pool in an AMM, a pool has to be created for each type of STO with a pairing to allow the marketing to buy and sell these STOs, which generate yield of the AMM. So to answer your question, there can be as many pools as different projects. each with its own unique pool to facilitate the swaps

IX Swap platform is built on ETH and polygon and i learnt that it's looking to integrate with multiple protocols in the future. What factor will you consider in selecting blockchains to integrate? Security, speed and cost are very essential, will you look for blockchains that meets all of these criteria?

Speed, security, cost, infrastructure and also the STO ecosystems on that specific chain.

1. Not only are we an AMM for STOs and TSOs, IX Swap connects will licensed partners as gatekeepers to allow facilitation of these tokens from all other licensed platforms and issues, This means that we are platform agnostic and will be able to connect with any STO/TSOs, thru the use of our licensed partners and custodians.
2. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements. At our state we believe we already have an edge above our competitors in terms of our infrastructures and participants, allowing us not just to facilitate but to launch new Tokenized assets.

Do I need to have ALBT tokens when bridging our IXS tokens to be able to earn WIXS tokens and provide liquidity? Which wallet should I use, when will WIXS tokens be in my wallet?

Darren Wong

At the moment yes, but we looking to work on a bridge in the near future. You only need to do that once, however once you earn WIXS on polygon network it will automatically be on polygon and you wont have to bridge it.l Metamask is fine :)

Thanks to blockchain for making it possible to tokenize almost everything, music, art, sport, loans and lots more have been tokenized. However, on sector seems to be left behind, which is the Healthcare sector, what are some of the constraints you think these sectors are facing and how can tokenization help address it? Any plan of tokenizing the health care sector?

You could potentially tokenize anything into a security. We have spoken to companies that are even looking into the healthcare sectors looking to tokenize hospitals!
