ICO projects Mainnet&Testnet progress report by CryptoDiffer

This article covers some of the ICO projects that conducted their TGE in 2018. We aimed to investigate the following details: What is the status of product development? How long did the development take? What was actually done?

This is the first article, therefore the list was limited to nine projects, which managed to provide us with the information first.


Skrumble Network is traditional communication platforms rely on a centralized server for information and data storage. Skrumble Network is decentralizing communication from how the connections are formed and where data is stored by building a public blockchain network, dApp ecosystem and layer for developers to power unstoppable, secure and private communications worldwide. Starting with our first dApp Ally, a decentralized communication & social media app, Skrumble Network ensures no third-party entity can censor or manipulate users data.


“We released the testnet on December 2nd, and mainnet is expected for Q1 2019. Our blockchain surpassed our expectations, with consensus times of at least 5s and reaching 3k TPS on our testnet, tested with 6 to 32 main nodes, when our initial goal was 500 TPS, scaling up to 2k TPS. We need a lot more testing and audits until we publish the mainnet, where we expect to scale it more, but it’s not our main focus. Performance and reliability are more important than a number of TPS for our use-case. 
In terms of audits, we will get external ones, and we will be implementing numerous peer reviews of technical developers to see how our blockchain is performing, such as from Jinius Tu, the CTO of AION. We’ll be hosting hackathons, as well as getting code reviews in the near future.”

▪️ Skrumble Network announced master nodes and grandmaster nodes to the public, with a reward program to early adopters.
▪️ The project released Ally (The first decentralized app powered by Skrumble Network’s) to the public in August 1st and hit a goal of 100k users on Ally by the end of October.
▪️ Skrumble Network has released an open source blockchain visualizer on GitHub, called Cerebro (source), which is interoperable, meaning that it can be used in any blockchain project.
▪️The project has also released their block explorer, which lets everyone take an in-depth look at the blockchain live, seeing the transactions as they happen, and the blocks as they are created (source).

PCHAIN is the world’s first native multi-chain system supporting EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine). It features an original PDBFT algorithm, unified knowledge graph, and Smart Data Oracle mechanism, supporting smart contract calls of non-native tokens. PCHAIN aims to solve issues of blockchain performance, interoperability, non-closed loop smart contracts, and dependence on external data, making large-scale industrial application of blockchain smart contracts possible.


Testnet 1.0 was launched on 13 Sep, 2018. Pchain reached 234,424 TPS with 256 child chains and 1064 nodes.

Testnet 2.0 was launched on 30 Nov. 2018. PCHAIN reached theoretically 180 K TPS with the same scale of Testnet 1.0. And PCHAIN upgraded 3 features:

1)Upgrade PDBFT consensus mechanism to make consensus process more stable, and PCHAIN has submitted PDBFT 2.0 to SIGMOD

2)Upgrade the structure of PCHAIN system to connect with Ethereum more smoothly.  

3)Introduce black box automated testing framework in order to conduct continuous and comprehensive test on PCHAIN

About 5,000 users on Testnet.

Mainnet will be released in March, 2019


▪️ The first native multichain system in the world supporting EVM where main chains and child chains have good interoperability. Compared with the hardware requirements of traditional projects, the server costs using PCHAIN are reduced by 143 times, while CPU power and memory access are increased by 64 and 244 times, respectfully.

▪️ The innovative PDBFT consensus algorithm effectively reduces the communication cost from N2 to N. Meanwhile, in contrast with the traditional DPOS algorithm, the efficiency is improved by 12 times while the decentralization degree is improved by 100 times. 

▪️ The PCHAIN dynamic super node is the first proof of stake (PoS) reward system with pure dynamics that reduces the Matthew Effect, improving the fairness and stability of the overall system.  

▪️ PCHAIN has hold and participated in different marketing activities and high-lever conferences like IEEE International Conference on Data Mining, the largest hack marathon Junction in Europe, Blockchain Annual Conference of Blockchain Committee of CFLP (China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing) etc. Built the cross-chain game on Testnet and now is preparing public test with validators.

OneLedger is a blockchain protocol that acts as a gateway between enterprise systems and all of the other public/private chains. Mainnet – Q4 2019


As the name OneLedger literally implies, the project is not a single blockchain, but rather an ecosystem of interconnected blockchains. It is possible to deploy a customizable private/public sidechains with their own consensus algorithms, which will communicate with each other being interoperable with the main chain.

Since OLT design takes care of different configurable algorithm, the tps is described as elastic because realistically, it is a range starting from around Tendermint’s performance on the low end, going up to maybe just a pure P2P fault tolerance on the high end.


▪️ Currently,  testnet is dPoS + PBFT. The mainnetwill also be DPoS + PBFT but instead of having masternodes, OLT has introduced a similar concept called validators but their selection is dynamic so as to maximize their number across all the chains for better participation, security, stability etc.
▪️ OneLedger consensus in the early phase allows everyone to run a node. Later on, staking amounts of tokens will be required to assume quality and commitment.

Chronos (Testnet) is integrated with several features which will serve as the basic foundation leading up to the Mainnet. The features include:

After the ICO, OneLedger has formed important partnerships with several blockchain companies (like TomoChain, Dispatch, PChain, EdenChain, just to name a few) over the past six months. Some of these companies will also take on important roles of acting as validators, and help strengthen our network.


The primary use case of OneLedger is to allow centralized enterprises to extend their markets via decentralized technologies. A primary pain-point that they face is the setup and integration of different chains like Bitcoin, Ethereum and other great public/private chains in the future. Instead of having to install lots of different chains to access their capabilities, enterprises only need to install the OneLedger gateway. OneLedger will manage their identities and accounts, and provide easy connectivity to their existing systems. As well, they can pick trusted business modules from the marketplace and use them to simplify their interactions

GS Shop is South Korea’s largest online shopping platform generating more than $3.5 billion revenue in 2017 through the provision of clothings, outdoor equipments, cosmetics, luxury goods, furniture, household appliances, pet products, and food. Beyond Korea, GS SHOP has presence in China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Turkey and Russia.

GS Shop leverages big data to tailor their products to their customers’ needs to achieve a higher customer purchase conversion rate on their site and to provide their customers with a smoother shopping experience.

Databloc would be a method for GS Shop to purchase legitimately obtained data in both quality and quantity through ABL Tokens. One of the essential data types useful for their new customer acquisition strategy is ‘Device Installed Application List.’

Since GS Shop sells pet-related products on their platform, having knowledge of potential customers who have pet-related applications on their phone but has yet to install GS Shop’s mobile application would be useful for them to entice these users to purchase pet products on their shopping platform.

DxChain Network is a decentralized big data storage and computing network. DxChain is a public chain, it designs a revolutionary “Chains-on-chain” architecture to make blockchain function as a computing unit — data storage and computing, so that the technical characteristics of blockchain can be truly extended to a broader field, promoting the next generation of technology from the bottom.


DxChain has released the testnet beta on 30 September 2018, and launched the Testnet, SDK and the first blockchain cloud storage product on January 7, 2019, which showcased the DxChain research and development team’s capability of delivering the project on time, and implementing the distributed storage powered by blockchain as promised.

During the past two quarters after ICO, DxChain research and development engineers have achieved:

▪️ Finalized the storage proof algorithm design: by implementing Merkle Tree algorithm, the test network can support 1024 nodes with 1T files on each node at 60 seconds for each block;
▪️ Released 3 major testnet versions, including the block explorer for testnet;
▪️ Implemented and released DxBox (the first blockchain cloud storage product) with DxChain API;
▪️ Designed and implemented API and SDK for partners and developers.

The next phase of DxChain development will focus on supporting smart contract and solidarity-based economy, and building the programming interface between storage and blockchain system.

The next release is projected at the end of 2019 Q1, and the Mainnet will be released in 2019 Q3.


Besides the technical progress, DxChain also made great achievement on the community and ecosystem development:

And the lockup period for team members has been extended from 6 months to 12 months. That is to say, till now, no team tokens have been released (all the tokens for team members now have a three-year vesting period, with a one-year cliff).

TPS (transactions per second)

Holochain as an app framework does not pose any limit of transactions per second because there is no place all transactions have to pass through.” It is like asking, “how many words can humanity speak per second?” The answer is that with every human being born, that number increases. The same is true for Holochain.

Holochain does not pose any TPS limit, so in theory, it could be unlimited. In practice, however, the network will support “millions of transactions per second” at the very least.

Kambria is an open innovation platform that enables and incentivizes collaborations in R&D, manufacturing, and commercializing of advanced technology. Kambria contains protocols uniquely designed with blockchain and crypto-economics to address the current waste and efficiencies in today’s innovation model. Kambria has released a testnet back in April 2018 and Mainnet in September 2018.

Mainnet release and token generation event are just the beginning of the long process of further development, expansion and implementation.

KAT token launched in December 2018

To support this Kambria is launching its Open Innovation Hub Program on January 29th 2019.


The Open Innovation Hub is a network of physical research and development labs across the globe, supported by Kambria’s online open innovation platform. They are opening five innovation hubs across the globe, the first in Silicon Valley, California. They also working with major universities, including Stanford and Carnegie Mellon, to host hackathons in collaboration with the International Data Engineering and Science Association (IDEAS).

Сreated the VietAI Alliance, which is dedicated solely to AI development. There will be several more of these that work with governments and universities in many different countries.

In under thirty days, KAT was listed on several major exchanges, including KuCoin, BitMart, and DragonEx, and they are aiming for top tier exchanges next. As a requirement for these listings, KAT would need to get into the top 150 on CoinMarketCap. Kambria is committed to this cause.

In order to build a strong token economy, Kambria needs to create a high demand for KAT. It will do this by requiring that all bounties issued on the platform be payable in KAT, that licensing fees be paid in KAT, and all membership fees for the Kambria platform are paid for with KAT. To facilitate the ease of use in these and other platform activities, Kambria will create a fiat gateway for those who want to purchase KAT. We will also periodically buy back KAT on the exchange to assist users and corporations.

In addition to creating demand and increasing ease of use, Kambria will focus on reducing the token velocity by providing incentives for users to stake KAT to vote for viable projects on the platform. We will also participate in revenue sharing so that token holders can receive a portion of revenue generated by our ecosystem. Kambria’s expected revenue for 2019 is approximately $3M USD.
