Hi everyone, my name is Pedro, I am the CEO of dotmoovs. I trained as a Biomedical Engineer with a specialisation in Neurotechnology and neuro-inspired AI algorithms. For about 10 years me and Salomé have been dreaming of working in sports performance and competition, but life lead us in other ways, and I ended up specialising in the development and deployment of data and AI solutions in different industries, from medical startups to large telecom companies. And now it's time to revive that dream - and make dotmoovs a reality!

I'm the COO at dotmoovs. I'm a biomedical engineer by training. My first research field was in biomechanics, where I developed a passion for sports kinematics. In the last years, I've been focusing on technology strategy and innovation and developing new digital services and products in the healthcare industry.
I've been trying to come up with this project for almost ten years now. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!

Hi! I'm Ricardo. I'm the Head of Growth of dotmoovs. I'm a services engineer and manager by training and an entrepreneur by heart. I've founded a couple of companies, and I've dedicated my last few years working as a communicator, marketer, and manager. I've helped scale several innovative companies and startups in the tech industry. I've joined dotmoovs not only because of how interesting the project is, but also because of its highly ambitious plan and disruptiveness. Q2: Can you introduce dotmoovs to us?

dotmoovs is the first crypto mobile worldwide competitive environment. The platform allows users to compete with others around the world just by bringing their skills, ambition, and smartphones. dotmoov’s AI-based video referee will assess their performance in real-time. Powered by blockchain technology, sport competition will enable fair challenges and access to unique digital assets.

Q3: Let`s now talk about the milestones you have achieved so far and about your upcoming plans?

well I would say that the support we've received from Luís Figo and Ricardo Quaresma, both renowned professional football players, as Brand Ambassadors is a great milestone for us.
Another one is the investment: we've raised $840,000 through private funding to further develop the app and its technology and to improve our marketing campaigns
Also, enabling people to swap $MOOV from Ethereum to Binance Smart Chain using a bridge that will be announced soon after the launch of the token.

regarding upcoming plans, the release of a MVP is coming soon!
Also, we're working on including more and more sports in our platform!

Q1. What impact or influence do you think having an ambassador like Luis Figo and Ricardo Quaresma have on your project recognition and performance?

Q2. I'm really fascinated about the Peer2Peer challenge feature on your platform, could you please tell us more about it and how's it different from that of Strava and Peloton which are one of the few projects that have such feature on their platform?

Q1. Great question! To be honest with you - It's an honor to have the support from Figo and Quaresma. They were very excited to join us in providing sports throughout the world. They have the same vision that players should be able to improve their performance without being stopped by their economic support or geographic location. Anyone can become a pro. We want to use technology to make that possible. Their support will allow us to get our word spread over their fans community.

Q2. Another great question! Peer2Peer challenge - so our Player versus Player (PvP) mode is what really attracts people all around the world to be in love with sports. Only Strava and Peloton try to do it, but not in a real player versus player mode. In the case of Strava the players track their activity based on distance, time, and speed. On Peloton, users require bicycles and other equipment in order to collect data and win the challenges.

Currently, how many sports does your app support asides football? Would you consider introducing more sport like boxing, dancing, swimming and the rest so that you could reach broader audience?

Currently just football! But more is coming. Let me tell you that your examples are very good ones 😉😉 stay tune!

I saw on the Dotmoovs website all the pictures and the Ambassadors used are soccer players, are Dotmoovs only for and focused on the sport of football? or any other sport? and whether Dotmoovs can be accessed globally without limited areas?

Hi Brianna! No, we're not focusing only on football. The first sport available in the platform will be freestyle soccer, that is why our first ambassadors come from this field. We will announce new ambassadors and from different sports as soon as we release new ones!

dotmoovs will be accessible globally. That is actually what we're trying to accomplish: bring sports, competition and personal development to everyone!

✅ Can you tell us what associations are currently managing Dotmoovs? Have you considered seeking support from some recognized sports schools or academies? It would be interesting.

Very interesting! Thank you for the question! Actually we're already discussing with freestyle football associations, we believe we will have news soon!! But for us it is really important to have their support since they can help us to digitize the sport in a more realistic way ☺️

📕 No matter how advanced Dotmoovs AI technology is I suppose there will always be users who are dissatisfied with the results How do you deal with this, is there a way to place a disputed result for the community to decide?

Salomé Azevedo

Of course! There's no way to satisfy everyone. That's why we will keep improving our technology and product. When we launched the project we knew that we would be working with high tech. Working with high tech requires discipline and resilience to not give up. Our main focus is the player's experience. Therefore, all of our releases will be tested by the community. Then, their feedback will be used to iterate the platform to another level.

What does favourite sporting superstar mean here? Would there be participants like Lionel Messi?

It means that we're bringing professional athletes to work with us. Two of them were already presented! Figo and Quaresma, two international football players. More, from football and other sports, will be announced in the future 🙂 so we're working on some pretty cool collectibles with these superstars

Currently dotmoovs focuses on newcomers or long-time participants? How do you plan to project your future?

We focus on both. To have a strong network effect in our platform, we actually need to start providing a product that community can engage with! So we are targeting since the beginning to everyone, but we'll only get early adopters. Later, with the feedback from these adopter we will reach broader audiences. Our plan to include more sports is to tackle that issue

Our core team is portuguese, but our first investors are spread all over the world. Currently, our website is translated in: English, Turkish, and Chinese. Next languages are Spanish, and Russian 😄

1. Dotmoovs has been lingering for close to ten years now. That is a very long time. So why do you think this is the right time to launch the product?

2. In order to ensure trust and fairness, what kind of anti-fraud systems have the team laid out for the app?

Hi Hakeem! Great question indeed!

1. Yes, 10 years is a long time, but it had to do with the technology available at the time. Naturally, when the idea came up, we didn't imagine anything envolving crypto or many of the features we now have on our roadmap. But throughout the years, after his being a recurrent topic, it finally made sense to develop the project. Smartphones themselves became part of the solution, which we didn't have 10 years ago!

Our dream is for every single person in the world with a smartphone to use dotmoovs to improve his/her performance. How are we reaching every country is based on legal and technological requirements of each location. We're working with legal experts on these issues

❎ How high quality does my mobile phone camera need to be for the app to be able to detect my movements without a problem? Do you have specific requirements for this?

We will definitely have minimum requirements to install the app. We can't say right now exactly which ones, but we can say that any regular newish smartphone will be suitable (launched in the last couple of years) 🙂

Me and my wife, together we are doing gym training to get in the shape. In order to be dotmoovs athletes should we join the challanges seperately?
Second question, there are many individual sports including masks weared on fencing or skiing, is the AI capable of picking the right person from a stunt-man?

OHHHHH I JUST LOVED YOUR QUESTION!!!!! Thank you. So 1) Each of you has to create a challenge, so our AI-algorithms can assess the performance of each player. Now, please note, that we are NOT responsible if you start discussing after challenge 😆😆😅😂

Considering the second question: that's a very interesting question. You're right. We are working on those sports and we are still designing an anti-fraud mechanism for that. Thank you so much for your questions!

With regard to people who do not handle the English language, what plans has their project for a broader community and can understand more about the ecosystem of your project??

Absolutely, we're working with partners from different countries to make sure we're reaching to different nationalities and languages. We currently have some official telegram accounts in different languages, for different communities (you can check each official one on @dotmoovs )
Besides, like @spazevedo said, we're working on transliting the materials and website to other languages already!

🔵 Does your scoring algorithm supported by biomechanical models work with artificial intelligence? I do not fully understand about this. How will this algorithm do the scoring?

🔵 You have a plan to go to every country where there are sports communities. In which countries will you be more involved in this field? For example, will Turkey 🇹🇷 take place?

Salomé Azevedo

Good question: so we'll use AI for object detection and biomechanical models to model the human movement. This will allow to score our players' performance on their ability to conduct sports activities. Agility, speed and control are some of the metrics in our score! Now the score is going to be defined for each sports considering their success metrics.
TURKEY will DEFINITLY be in place. Our website is already in turkish! And our ambassador Quaresma loves Turkey so much that it was one of our first countries to look at!

Our platform focuses on healthy and enjoyable competitions between sports lovers. We want to promote personel development, sports and skill-improvement in people. Our rewards ($MOOVs, NFTs, ranking upgrades, unlocking challenges, etc) are a way to incentivize people to do better each time. It's not like we rely on NFTs
