Q1: Can you introduce yourself to our community?

I am Sandeep Kumar, founder and CEO of CropBytes. In the early years of my career, I've worked towards technology transfer of innovative power electronic projects to 80+ companies in India & 250+ companies across the globe. These products run in millions of homes worldwide. Interestingly, I’ve also applied for 2 provisional Patents at the age of 23. I have built many devices and gadgets to simplify people's lives.

I have over 9 years of experience in Branding, advertising and marketing across Industries and organizations such as OML, DBS bank, IDFC and extensively on brands such as Bacardi global, Swiggy India, and Reliance. Previously Co-founded SafeDays, a mood prediction bot for women. I joined team Cropbytes as a farmer back in 2020 and there's been no loooking back, we are a great team with the potential and the vision to change the face of crypto Gaming, with our economy based game metaverse.

Q2: Can you introduce CropBytes to us?

CropBytes is a crypto farming game that was launched in 2018 and has been growing ever since. Today it is one of the few Crypto games to be available on Android, IOS and web. We recently closed our seed round funding and are now going public with our token (CBX) on 5th November i:e in 3 days. 🥳🎉

The game is built with a sustainable economy and our players love the farming and strategic business challenges to play and grow their crypto farm. In this virtual farm, players grow crops, raise animals and produce goods to build their crypto farm and own crypto coins.

CropBytes has created real value for gamers around the world in the form of virtual currency. We believe that second life gaming will be a source of income for millions of people on the metaverse.

Today we have 250K players worldwide, 100k+ downloads, and 4.2* Avg store ratings.

In 2018, we started out as a simple farming simulation game. He game functioned without any complicated wallets or software and it was available on Android, IOS and Web app.

The latest version of CropBytes features a robust collection of assets, a beautiful 3D game environment with high-quality graphics, new Ui, 3D elements & more.

The in-game exchange is one of the biggest breakthroughs in gaming. Even modern games today use traditional list-style trading. It’s an outdated concept and lacks key features that are found in CropBytes.

We have some exciting features coming up on CropBytes, these include tokenization of assets. All FTs and NFTs in the game will be on-chain and will be tradable on public platforms. We're also constantly optimizing the economics, but this will also include major feature updates like Staking, PVP mini-games, PVP Superhero battles, and much more.

Q4: There are many Crypto games out there, is there anything that makes CropBytes unique?

That's good question 😃
The fundamental innovation in the game is the replicating the economics of real-life, which sets it apart from all the crypto games in the market. There is a perfect mix of fungible and nonfungible tokens (NFTs) while most other games today are focused only on NFTs. This solves multiple issues around liquidity, ultimately contributing to the game’s growth and development.

Players build their farm in the CropBytes metaverse using crypto as a means for transactions with other players. This is a real world economy just like a nation of citizens that work towards building their portfolio and in turn also boost the economy of their nation.

It's a known fact that most of the games nowadays are running behind NFT trends, however, NFTs are plagued with liquidity problem. This will become more worse when the market becomes bearish, only few gaming projects will be able to survive when this period comes. What do you think could be done to help avoid such thing from happening to Cropbytes? What are the sustainability strategies you've come up with?

Hello Friend, yes this is exactly the problem we had fixed in the bud 3 years ago by working out an economy in the game metaverse. We have a subtle balance of Fungible tokens and Non-fungible tokens in the game. All the daily essential assets in the game are FTs, so there is enough liquidity in the in-game market when the player wishes to sell or buy. NFTs exist as well, but only 30% of game assets are NFTs. Another thing to note is that the NFTs are not just cosmetic collectibles, they add or boost your farms output when you add them to your game inventory. The balanced game economy is our strategy for sustainability, much like the real world, just that even better.

1) what we are building is virtual Economy. Although it feels like farmville, the real game is economy here.

For any economy the basics comes from food, that the reason why our first layer of economy deals with farming.

2) We are migrating to eth, later we have plan to add a bridge to bsc & polygon.

We recently closed our funding of 2.6 mil and raised from prominent Industry leaders and VCs, to name a few, Old Fashion Research, Exnetwork Capital, Kryptos Research, AVStar Capital, AU21 Capital, Master Ventures, EPNS, Strip Finance, and others who participated in the round. Also, onboard are advisors like Siddharth Menon COO at WazirX, Sandeep Nailwal, COO at Polygon, Eric Su Founder at ExNetwork Capital, Tamar Menteshashvili Growth Lead at Solana, Pareen Lathia, Co-founder at Builders Tribe to name a few.

With these partners on board we now head towards our IEO which is colaunched by Bybit & MEXC on 5th November. So please go and participate.

🚀Do you have language support as players from all over the world will participate? Do you also support regional languages for players?
After completing a title, can players sell their assets or use them in the next game?

Right from the start we have a very global community of players, from south-east asia to latin america. And we have many regional communites as well, including, Vietnam, Indonesia, Phillipines, India, China, Japan, Spanish and more. We also have localised playstore and appstore pages for a few languages and will be adding more post IEO. We are now, working towards localising the game for our global audience and this should be completed as a project in the next quarter.
