Q1: Can you introduce yourself to our community?

Sure thing!
I’m Tom from the U.S. and the Strategy Director for Meme.com.
I have been excited about the crypto space for several years and memes even longer.
I’m super excited about the possibilities Meme can bring to the space, so I happily came aboard the project in the early days.
It has been amazing thus far, as NFT and gaming communities are some of the most passionate folks in the blockchain space.

Q2: Can you introduce meme.com to us?

As a one liner, we love to describe Meme.com as if Wikipedia and Dogecoin had a baby.
Meme.com is a memetic asset protocol. It’s essentially a story layer of the internet where it's possible to create markets and collectibles around any trend.
It enables users to mint memetic tokens that are based on the perceived value of the trend or meme they represent.
These are created and swapped by users of the Memecoin.
Memecoin, our platforms native currency, is swapped for mTokens (e.g. mDOGE, m PEPE, mWOJAK)
You can imagine a CoinMarketCap of meme tokens on our site ranking the most popular memes!
Content around each meme is crowdsourced by the community and the best memes each month receive rewards that include fancy NFT art.

Q3: Let`s now talk about the milestones you have achieved so far and about your upcoming plans?

Well this really all began in a basement in Sweden in the summer of 2018.

There some friends were sitting around in a circle discussing with an idea on how to quantify all information and their network effects in a trustless way.
At that time it seemed like a large task to overcome.
With that idea in hand we launched our first project MarbleCards and have since grown an amazing community that has created over 110k NFTs.
Creating NFTs that were largely based on memes... but were really showing us what was popular... and what was trending.
Meme.com has now been built as the core layer of our platform.

MarbleCards will become an underlying asset layer of that core layer and interact with the protocol. It will provide a data set for us, along with other sets, to quantify popularity and trends.
So we have been building this out for some time.
Meme.com will have Memetic Markets, a Posh Meme Societies and Meme Expeditions… in addition to our NFT layer MarbleCards.

Why would you advise that I build my portfolio with meme coins when there are other numerous coins that have real use cases and can earn me more rewards?

I love this question Hakeem!
Meme coins... yes there are numerous.
With meme.com we are building something that crosses DeFi, NFTs and gaming.
These will be fluctuating markets that are bringing a NEW ASSET CLASS to crypto... and we are quite excited.
Eventually this will become more than just meme markets... it will incorporate a way to quantify and rank ALL TRENDS! :)

For any meme to be successful, it has to have a very strong meme because the value of the coins come from the value of their meme. You could see why Doge is such today among other meme coins. So can you tell us the steps you intend to take to help give value to your token so that people would see it as an investment opportunity and not a gamble?

Im glad you asked this one Kunlefighter!
Like any token, memetic assets (mTokens) will be volatile and speculative.
With that being said, our mTokens are only traded on a token bonding curve model with those that have participated in the market… so volatility will depend on the particular holders of the mTokens and what they believe in.
And when you participate in a Meme Market you can help a meme trend by spreading it on twitter, the web and by making a Marble card with it... we will be incorporating many data sets to rank popularity!

Hi Sam... we are passionate about gaming in crypto!
We have an Arena working now on MarbleCards that puts your NFTs to work for you to make yield

but this is more about Meme.com .... our core layer
We will be hosting Meme Expeditions
Which will gamify the Memetic Assets on our platform

More to come on this and other gaming aspects... but we've built here before and will continue to grow the gaming aspect of Meme.com !

Where are you currently focusing on, building product development that attracts customers and users or partnerships?

We have spent a lot of time building and our current community has grown vastly over the years.
An expansion of the project was in need to go the direction we wanted to grow out the project... so this is of DIRE importance to us.
People who have played and minted know we have something special here… we are expanding this knowledge we have of growing and interacting with the community in a fun way to make Meme.com ultra successful
